Absolutely surprised about how beautiful this place is. The media should be ashamed of itself with the lies. The streets of Los Angeles and Sacramento CA are infested with homeless people in downtown areas and I see none of that here.

@wizzyone6789 Gaza did not run their own economy at all. They relied almost exclusively in international aid efforts including significant contributions from Israel and the US. I'm totally fine with countries doing well for themselves but if they are promoting terror I ain't for that.

For some reason, I had a different image of Gaza, as I was given to understand there is huge poverty and unemployment, virtually no industries and the blockade hardly allows any movement in or out for tourist money to flow in. This images I see are of flourishing commercial activity, men and women well dressed, infrastructure more than decent and when I compare it with some African and South Asian countries. Am obviously missing something.

They dont have facility or area to invest in agriculture or structure, unemployment rate is 40%+ people rely on outside help to live.

They were surrounded by occupation but Hamas was/is their government, and look how well they were able to do despite being trapped. Honestly, it looks far better than some of the South Asian countries. The picture they instilled in my mind is that it has been flattened over the decades of war. I never knew Open Air Prison could look this beautiful.

Despite being trapped inside Gaza for years, the people of Gaza made the most of their situation and maintained a strong appreciation for life. It's heartening to see their commitment to cleanliness and their love for living. One can only imagine the positive impact that freedom of movement would have had on their community and the entire region.

Open air prison is the term used for the blockaid, the checkpoints, no confirm of return and going out for some unlucky ones, not to forget THE FUCKING HIGH WALL?? and the list goes on. How can a country have checkpoints rules by outsiders? This rules needs to go! And also, the Rafah border is the most EVIL THINGS you will see. You have to make a VERY LONG u-turn just to get to Rafah border. This was created by Israel, so the aids will arrive slow and difficult. @@Peace4Dunya There was no blockade of humanitarian aid, but it was checked because aid money in Gaza was used to produce rockets that were used to fire at Israeli cities. From Gaza you could fly anywhere through Egypt.

Gaza per capita is one of the wealthiest arab areas in the world. They get billions upon billions of aid each year. Imagine how beautiful gaza could be if hamas didn't steal 60% of the funds.

To be honest here, I used to think there was nothing in this tiny strip of land, only rows apon rows of tight fitting decaying buildings. This video has shown me differently to what I,ve been told in the past! So sad to see both sides of life taken because of this war (Innocent lives) surely this is the time for a peaceful change, a promise for a much better future.

Gaza is a part of palestine that is occupied by Israel with 800,000 Israeli settlers and 700 millitary checkpoint, Israel is controlling water, electricity and borders of Palestine, no access for any airport or even a port, all Palestine resources are under Israeli control, if you need more information read UN reports or the NGOs, know more about Palestine before writing comments. But there are limited access to electricity (less than 11h per day and sometimes only couple of hours) , Gaza can not export and import as it want, they dont have air port (israel bombed it), they are not allowed to get a dock for trading so they are limited to 10km for fishing purposes only, they are also not allowed to invest in the gas fields on their borders offshore. They dont have facility or area to invest in agriculture or structure, unemployment rate is 40%+ people rely on outside help to live.
So sad to even think that many of these people appeared in the video could be dead by now 😔

Plenty of footage of the West Bank and illegal settlements to show what it’s like to live in non-Hamas areas. And obviously since October Gaza is no longer anything like this.

It’s an open air prison. It’s not indoors and by the definition of an open air prison it fits all the criteria. Israel blockades it by sea and is refusing to let the already little humanitarian aid cross rafah from Egypt and are threatening to bomb Egyptian aid if they send any in. They also cut off food water electricity and internet from Gaza which is again a warcrime known a collective punishment and people in Gaza are not allowed to go fishing. Remember Gaza and the West Bank are legally Palestinian territories. This isn’t even including the fact that israel annexed land won in war in the 1948 war but putting illegal settlements in the West Bank IDF soldiers in East Jerusalem to harass the people there and blockading Gaza is why the UN has condemned Israel.
