Hiking, Solani ABV, and Wessex BS are all great. I like each one more than the other depending on my mood. Hiking having less casing , ABV a little more, and BS having the most. Have a good week!
It's strange how something we put away can no longer have the same impact at another time! Part of the reason, if i open i use it up while I'm liking it 😂
Good morning and Happy Saturday my friend. I grabbed a Mark Twain bent cob with a green marbled Vermont Freehand stem and packed it with some Hiking. I grabbed a bunch of tins when they came out several months ago. But it certainly is a favorite of mine. Your bound to set off another frenzy on this. Looking forward to the HU release this coming week. Seems like Laudisi is distributing it here in the states. I made a list of the blends I want to try. Have a great weekend!
I appreciate the heads up on this one. I picked up a couple of tins (based on older reviews) when it finally came back in stock a few months ago, but haven't cracked one yet. Things dry a lot faster out here, so I'll just jar it for a day or two and then give it 15-20 minutes before loading the bowl and lighting up. Have a great weekend!
Good Saturday Morning Brian! Enjoying some black cowboy coffee and some Unscented Flake while I watch you. As fishing declines, pipe making increases ... Your story of no more profit, but higher supply costs is a world wide problem. I hear that everywhere now. I have Hiking in the cellar but have not yet tried it. Dunhill looks festive back there. My Sasha has become quite the wilderness dog out here in Wyoming. How do you smoke flakes? Fold&Stuff, tear it up, grind it? The fishing is better out here as the weather cools down. We are in the 20's in the mornings now. Winter is coming. Dark and naturally sweet is the best. Good ramble.
Good morning Dave I usually just crumble my flakes but sometimes I fold and stuff but harder to keep lit. I was going to make a Vr reply to your how I made money vid but didn’t have time . Man you really hit home with me on that you are 100% right no reason to complain about ones life if not happy. I kind of did what you did but in a much smaller scale I been working since I was 13 started out delivering newspapers and never looked back . I got married and divorced after only 1 year of marriage wife cheated on me so I paid child support for 17 years it was very rough I worked 2 jobs 7 days a week plus overtime , I literally lived on about $40 for groceries every 2 weeks mainly bought a sack of potatoes and a tub of peanut butter to get by . Now fast forward been married 28 years now and I work full time and do my side gig making pipes to have fun and make extra money . Younger guys should really listen to your thoughts on making money
@@beans316 Thanks! I wanted to give an honest answer and give people some things to think about. I also wanted people to know it took me 33 years to get to the sale in 2019 and then another 5 years to become the guy on camera. I am most frustrated by people who aren't happy AND watch 20-40 hours of TV/Movies/YT/Sports a week and then through out the "I can't get ahead in life." That gap is what I am trying to close for people who are willing to listen and learn. I started early too - delivering newspapers for years and as a dishwasher at Denny's at 14. Got lucky and found my wife Anne Marie and still married to Wife 1.0 since 1990. We have been together since 1988. 2 great kids. Life is good.
Good seeing you, Brian, I hope you and the family are well. I have been out of the circle for a couple of years started looking at some of the new tobacco that I have not Obtained. I could not believe how much tobacco went up in price. I damn near fell out on my chair and forget about buying a new pipe unless you cut off your left arm and sell it. Is there any kind of material that you can practice on that is not that expensive before you get into the propriety blanks? just a thought. Take care
Hey Steve great to hear from you yeah prices are crazy , I have a lot of Acrylic rods but it’s not the same it’s really hard stuff and harder to work with but I guess if I can master that I’ll be able to do Ebonite and other stuff easier
I don't know, I just couldn't get into it. I tried it at 4 different levels of dryness, and no matter what, I had to smoke it way, way slower than I like in order for my tongue to not get fried. I have some in the cellar that I'm hoping get better with age, but we'll see.
Another great video. Enjoying some Hiking watching and its great
The Hiking… Love the stuff. Coco heaven.
Thanks, Brian! This is one I've been hearing high praise of for a while. If I see some in stock I'll definitely pick some up. Sounds delicious. 👍

I just got a tin of this from a subscriber. I am gonna give it a go in Nov.

One of my all time favorites!
I'll be getting some of that tobacco. I'm not a dirt bag. Lol
Good stuff, brother
Just did a smoking pipes order with some of this in it. have never tried it. The order should be here on Tuesday hopefully, excited to try it.

Good morning my friend
I haven't tried this one, but I think the HH burley is my favorite in this family
Thanks for the review Brian! Any new bourbon acquisitions lately? This time year allocations start showing up on the shelves here in Missouri.
I got a Weller 107 , Larceny barrel proof and some more Smooth Ambler Cask Strength

Yeah it may just not agree with you
Man as soon as you are making stems let me know I want a few!!!! What was the score on this baccy? I missed it?
I didn’t give this one a review but when I made the first review years ago I remember it being pretty high
@@beans316 just ordered some thanks. Seriously let me know when you want to make some stems I’ll be a test pilot.
@@stovepipe1863Will do
What did you rate it at? Not at the end of video.
I didn’t since I already did years ago I gave it a 8.5 back then
You didn't rate it! I'm guessing 9.5?
I gave it a 8.5 back when it came out years ago
Good evening Brian! I’ve never had the cobblestone blends. Burley is king in my book tho!
