people just need to enjoy watching you work on so many different transmissions and not try to be the know it all and overseer of your operation. I can relate to your comment. when I was working on transmissions everyone seemed to have a comment. Keep up the show I just enjoy watching you.
I tried the battery ones. Battery lasts about a year and costs as much as the entire tool to replace. The impact I am using here I have had about 25 years, at least. Still going. Plus I am used to it.
@@CurmudgeonTransmission I was going to say, I like that little wobble socket you have on it. I was gonna ask what brand it is as well because it looked pretty old. I wish we used air tools at my job. Oh well.
wow that looks like a lot of pieces and parts.... but apparently built very well if it only needs frictions and molded pistons. i love watching these things get torn down and reassembled though.
Pretty awesome tear down. I'm always curious how you remember how everything goes back together. I know you said you had about 40 years of experience, but it's still impressive. I haven't worked on a transmission yet (I'm stuck with electric vehicles at work), but it looks very interesting. One of those last snap rings looked like a pain in the ass.

@@TheCRTman Most of my sockets, especially the wobbles are Snap-On.
Hopefully people looking up Gx 460 find this.
Thanks for watching.

Just the way my brain is wired I guess. Yeah, that last one can be a pure pain sometimes.
