  • We visit an awesome Colorado fly fishing tailwater and tackle hot topics like rafters, hot spotting and something called the crap strap. We get into some nice brown and rainbow trout using primarily dry dropper rigs and a variety of dry flies and nymphs. We Euro Nymph a little but couldn't pass up on some great summer time top water action.
Plus we highlight our favorite new fly fishing product! It’s huge! Not the trout. Except for a couple.

Another great vid! The “technical” skill you showed fishing between rafts 7 minutes in was perfect. 😂

Hey, we worked with what the river gave us! Haha. It really wasn’t that bad, we only saw that one large group come through.

Actually the first one was awesome too. Looked bigger than the very last one?

Thanks! Yea it’s a sweet tailwater that feels like it was just made for fishing. Tons of pull off access and tons of fish. Mostly browns. 👍🏼

Hey Andy, thanks! haven’t been out a lot lately. Been busy with some family stuff but all is good and I expect to back on the water for a big fall trip in a couple weeks. How about you?
