Amazing! These are the voicings that the reviewers always throw in when they do a guitar/gear demo video. I always watch them play and think “what the bejeez was that chord”. Now you have helped demystify the witchcraft. Thank you.
Thank you for another super useful lesson. Learning these basics greatly helps to end the confusion. What are you running your Tele through? It sounds very lush and rich.
No pedals at all this time, just the deluxe reverb nice and straight. Had my usual settings of the volume at 3, bass and treble at 4 and reverb at 3 👌🏻
Thanks for the link to this video, really useful advice and tips. That Tele looks like it's has had some use, how long have you had it ? I can hear reverb on the vid, are you using anything else to generate that great sound ?
Thank you! Unfortunately that tele isn’t mine.. belongs to one of my students. It’s a beautiful Fender Masterbilt with Barden Danny Gatton pickups 👌🏻 My tone here is just straight into my old 1969 Deluxe Reverb, so the reverb is courtesy of the amp.
Well spotted!.. Danny Gatton pickups made my Barden. Unfortunately this isn’t my guitar.. I’m borrowing it from a student .. but it’s absolutely stunning.. a fender masterbilt 👌🏻❤️
One essential or more important lesson of Alex Channel … in my opinion … thanks Alex

Thank you so much! Really glad you enjoyed the lesson. I’m just running through my old 1969 deluxe reverb.. beautiful amp!

Cheers Alex. That tele looks a little Danny Gatton.
