Unbelievably good performance by high school kids. Terrific!! Impressive!! Loved it!!
I love the horn part.
The sustaining winds overpower the horn part at the beginning... what a shame it’s played beautifully
A couple of missed entrances. Also the director seems to be just beating time

No cracked French horn solo..intonation better..better low brass and on and on
But hey..you do what "your" ears hear
I am thinking the vast majority will think the performance I linked is sounding like a good college band performance

This is a very challenging piece for a high school and one that many cannot play
Yeah the director/conductor could have helped make this a much better performance.

This piece is very challenging and quite an accomplishment to be performed at a high school level
The way it was performed in this video would have garnered a superior rating
I am certain that with you and your student's further tweaking that the adjudicated performance was quite impressive
