Amazing result! And thank you - you literaly changed my life. I trained a lot and today I finished my bikepacking trip. Back on bike after 12 years and is was amazing! Thank you for great motivation!
Congratulations! I actually got to meet you and your wonderful parents at the Visitor Information Station when you did this. SERIOUS respect for anyone who makes this climb. Good to see that Ranger Arjun gave you a good orientation too, the rangers work hard to keep everyone safe. Thanks for featuring them. Again, amazing job.
Wow, what beauty there. What an excellent place to visit and ride. And you successfully made it up the hardest climb in the world aside from the Italian one you did. So proud of you. You looked near tears with joy and happiness when you were sitting down after. You are a very attractive guy as well. I have such utter respect for these videos and the fact that I can only travel through the internet. TY. Take care.
So cool finally watched all of these and now I can tune in while you upload new videos! Cool! Good luck in the US. Regards from Finland! Very inspiring series and well done so far!
Nice footage of your adventure in Hawai. Mauna Kea is really brutal but you managed to reach the top of the vulcano, well done! And your VIP actors did a good job as well 😀. Keep up the good work!
Oof that's one heck of a ride! But it's worth the view. This video brought back some fond memories - having worked at the summit I know how it feels just to walk around, let alone ride a bike up there. Must've been quite the ride down again!
Thank you for sharing. Your video is one of the most helpful I've seen for those of us considering this climb. I noticed you packed a puffy jacket. Do you pack any other items that you consider essential?
Knowing the 24hrs you had when you were leaving NZ to get there in the first place has made this an even better ….Well Done!! I think I would need and e-bike to attempt this, or would that be considered cheating? 😂
You have good parents, it's good that you have such support on the road! You've already ridden a lot, but how many times have you thought about the aerodynamics of your gear? Try to remove the bags from the front, they are like a sail. You can save 60 watts at a speed of 40 km per hour, the wind is 20 and your speed is 20. Think about it.
Amazing achievement, well done! You didn't say anything about the feeling of going downhill. If this is the hardest climb on Earth, downhill should be the easiest descent on Earth, right? 🙂
It’s not actually, the gravel section is super sketchy in BOTH directions. From the descent from the visitor information station, however is epic. SUPER steep though.

What a compliment. It's a pleasure to share my experiences with you and I'm happy I've inspired you to get back on the bike. Enjoy mate!

No i didn’t need that much. There’s just not that much water on the way, so pack enough. And yes, be prepared for the cold (wind) on top
Knowing the 24hrs you had when you were leaving NZ to get there in the first place has made this an even better ….Well Done!! I think I would need and e-bike to attempt this, or would that be considered cheating? 😂
Haha true.
And eh, yeah it’s a little bit cheating 😉
I’m sure you can get up there with your own power!
Another amazing trip , well done

Haha my rear panniers are even more like a sail. And if I do, then I put all my weight on the back only? Asking for trouble ;)
incredible at which age did you started?
What size tyres did you have?

Next time use a 11-40 cassette, not 11-34 😅
I don’t think there is a cassette in the WORLD big enough for that climb! 😂
Are you Spaniard? Just curious. Nice climb! 🎉
No im Dutch ;)
Are you riding 700x 32 tires?
700 x 38c
