hello! thank you for this video i'm very new to nomad sculpt. i'm having trouble with importing the image. when i try to pull out the mask using gizmo, the shape comes out full of ridges. it seems to get fixed when i add more subdivisions, but i get a warning from the app that it reaches an x amount of vertices. i can't get past the trimming part because of this. the 3d text becomes spikey and hollow in many parts. would you possibly be able to help? 🙇♀
Hello, Dave. Your videos are fantastic! I'm just getting started with sculpting, and your tutorials are extremely helpful. I'd like to ask you a quick question. On version 1.76, where and how do I change the stroke type? I can't seem to find it for the life of me. Thank you in advance!
So glad to hear it, thank you! For stroke settings, the options are in tabs, so once you tap the little pencil, the separate tabs appear. Is that what you needed?

Hi there, very helpful tutorial! Unfortunately I'm having an issue where on my nomad sculpt I don't see that bottom button on the masking took that you used to select your text file from procreate. Any idea why or how to fix that?
Hmm, what did the button do? Try the white square box on the left under the paint colors. I think that’s what you need…
@@drugfreedave Yes I found it the next day! where for you it's on the bottom left, for me it was in the top right in a drop down menu. Once I figured that out I was able to follow the tutorial just fine so thank you for the response!
Do you know why it won’t trim ?
How would you put the text on a curved/round object?
Took a while to follow as new with the app but got a 3D name which is something ;-)
It can be tricky at first, but the more time you spend with, you'll get better pretty quickly! 💯
How do you grab dynamic in the new version?
Can you do this kind of thing with any image?
I have an issue that I think this is a tutorial meaning that you need to use the light that is already in nomad and u are using something not in it soo please keep that in mind
All of the lights/lighting is in nomad, just created the font/word alpha in procreate 👍🏾
