Thanks
Thankyou. I appreciate that 🙏
I just had a homework on testing a leaf for chlorophyll, Oxygen, Carbondioxide, light and starch. I just found it all on this guy's page. Thank you man
You explained it better in just six minutes than my teacher who did for three hours. Thank you so much for this!
It took him days just to destarch the plant bro:)
i finally found someone who can explain better than the teacher
thanks alot for make this video
yaaaaaa
Thankyou so much..
I'm finally able to tell my students about the experiment during online classes
Whose here from school?
Thanks MR THOMAS for Giving this easy explanation and all the best
My teacher finally sent me to someone who explains what they’re doing
mine literally just wrote the experiment for us to do
Relatable 😂
@@k0lex247 my teacher literally said "see, this is a leaf, we do this and that, and pour this and done, if you have doubts, the experiment is written in the book, don't ask me"
And the experiment was written so poorly in the book
A lots of love from INDIA , THANKS👍👏🌹
Thank you so much for the clear and great explanation.😊
You saved me u r my hero now I can go to my exam
Yaaaaaasssssssss you explained better than my teacher you queeeeennnn
Ily
Thank you, so helpful!
Thank you so much gor this video, exactly what i was looking for🎉🎉
Thank you so much!!!!!!
Ahh Finally someone told that WHAT are the doing. My teacher and my text book, both confused me a lot .
Nice vid, my teacher told me to watch it 👍
Thanks for watching. And thankyou to your teacher. Goodluck 👍🏾
@@TheSingtangpaScienceGuy hi could you tell me the variables?
@@Matthew-rv3wr Light is the most outstanding variable. Light duration and intensity is directly proportional to photosynthesis.
My bio teacher told us to watch it after online classes are over. Nice vid
The way that you had explained shows that you are much better than my biology teacher
just what I thought
This is amazing. It is just what I need for my assignment. Really helpful. Thank you.
pov: u got bored and scroled to the comments
(the video itself is kinda interesting tho)
Thanks Mr Thomas now I can understand my studies 😀
Thank you!
So helpful for school thank you😊
So helpful, thank you ❤
Great job I love this video and demonstration
U r the best teacher
great learning sir . tnx
Loved it so creative 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌
Amazing 😍
Nice explained
Thank you much this helped alot
Great! Very helpful thank you :)
Na them e sir a clear thet e 👍
What a nice teaching 😀😀 way it's enjoyable 😊😁
thank you so much
❤❤Good🎉 teachable
This was really helpful
this is amazing
Hi Thomas. I am a biology teacher from South Africa and would like to know if i can use your video and do a voice over in afrikaans for my learners? :) Nicely done.
Great👍👍
Thanks bro explain
Good teachable
Was of a lot of help
Thanks bro love from india ❤️❤️❤️
Thanks. Greetings from Northeast India
what are the variables in this experiment
Ligh T is actually necessary for photosynthesis
can someone tell me what are the variables of this experiment?
Thank you so much for this video. It's really helpful. I have an exam tomorrow and didn't know how this worked because the text book wasn't very clear.
Amazing and very well explained
yes yes
My teacher prefered us this vedio for studying photosynthesis
I think every teacher loves your
Channel
Tnx❤❤❤
Thank you so much for this, but please what's in that water bath
Plain tap Water is in the water bath.
Same my teacher did that tooo :0
I think that maybe you can prove that the light is needed for photosyntesis by mixing baking soda with water, sinking leaves to the bottom of whatever do you have the solution in and putting it under a light. You should see the oxygen bubbles comming up. Then by trying the same thing in darkness you should see that nothing is happening.
Would this work as well as a proof of importance of the light in photosyntesis?
Not exactly
I could be wrong tho
can u pls make a video on testing a leaf for chlorophyll 😊👍
Do you mean "Chlorophyll is necessary for photosynthesis" experiment?
@@TheSingtangpaScienceGuy yes !
@@bihansathathsari7254 i already have all those videos. Just type "Chlorophyll is necessary for photosynthesis experiment" on TH-cam and you will find my video. Also please visit my channel and check out my other videos as well. I have already uploaded most of the biology experiments included in high school, higher secondary and college syllabus.
Great keep the rythm going you'll succed in your goal try to improve your audio quality
Thanks for the feedback. I actually increased the decibel using a software. If its still low volume. Do let me know , i will increase it further from the next video. Thanks 😊
@@TheSingtangpaScienceGuy yes it's kinda low or you talk with bit more energy so the video feels as if you teach us
@@TheSingtangpaScienceGuy I mean you try different methods of speech types as trail and error and find the way which suits the video
@@Hasan-cu5sd ok noted. Thanks again for the pointer 👍🏾
Just been sent here by my teacher
Goodluck. And thankyou to your teacher for choosing my video out of the many videos.
@@TheSingtangpaScienceGuy It was very useful, thank you very much
I was wondering what type of plant you used?
Vareigated plant
A plant with variegated leaves is used only for demonstration the essential role of chlorophyll in photosynthesis. For this experiment, u can use just about any green plant. No restrictions on a particular species or groups. Because photosynthesis takes place in all green plants.
Does anybody know the variables in this experiment?
👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👏👏👏
Do we have to water the plant while it's in the dark place ??
depends on the humidity level. But it will survive 2/3 nights without water. If you water it just before putting in dark, that should suffice.
Why leaves boil in Alcohol
Eee even my name starts with t 😛 so that I watching ur video
cool
mate could ya increase the decibal a little higher
Hi. Thanks for the comment. Voice volume has been increased starting from my recent uploads. I can still up the decibel in future videos if viewers still feel the need for me to do so. 🙂
can anyone tell me why we boil it in alcohol.
Hi. It is necessary to boil the leaf in alcohol for 2 reasons:
1. To kill the leaf cells
2. To decolourise/bleach the chloroplasts present in the leaf.
No.2 reason is very important because if the leaf is not decolourised and remains green, then when we perform the iodine test for starch on the leaf, we will not be able to discern clearly which parts of the leaf turn blue black in colour and which parts do not show change in colour. However, on a bleached leaf, one can easily observe the regions of the leaf that show a positive/negative iodine test.
Hope this helped. If further explanation required, do lemme know. 🤓
What if I don't have ethanol?
Alternatives: Rubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol), Denatured alcohol (Varnish solvent). Get the first one from pharmacies. Second one from Hardware stores.
@@TheSingtangpaScienceGuy thank you;
my teacher used this video for the photosynthesis slide
wow i just commented a sec ago and u already hearted me
Voice was very low
