I'm a 61 year old man who was the biggest John Denver fan of anyone I ever knew. Most of my rock & roll buddies would laugh at me in a good natured way, but I didn't care. And here I am tonight upon hearing this song for the first time, as we approach a Covid Christmas in 2020, and I'm crying. This lost gem is absolutely beautiful. My sister was given the Leaving on a Jet plane song from her boyfriend in early 70s. She played that song every night till he was KIA. When I deployed overseas she gave me that album. I been sharing John Denver's songs all over the world. From Subic Bay, Philippines to Biap, Iraq. Boy do we need John now. RIP JOHN DENVER
I am now 60 years old. Still listening to JD songs since l am 12 years old. Thanks God for this amazing friendly, humble & loving man. He is like heaven's send ❤😊

Absolutely incredible. John knew how to express feelings while singing. His voice improved and became richer with time. The video montage is well done.
Such a beautiful voice. His voice had become deeper and richer is later years. Those who are only familiar with the songs on the radio might not know how good he REALLY was. Almost operatic.
He said that while recording “Perhaps Love” with opera singer, Placido Domingo, he picked up singing techniques from Placido. So after that point, John’s voice changes and you can hear more depth and emotion when he sings.

i have always been amazed whenever I hear Judy Collins sing this poetic novel of a song "The Blizzard", but this is the first time I have heard John Denver's cover of "The Blizzard"....his version is equally superbly done ..(.with a few necessary gender and word changes in the lyrics).... and your dynamic and comprehensive photo display of John Denver's life and loves as well as the winter and snow covered mountains were superbly blended in with the song...(you even included a photo of a single cabin in the mountains)....kudos go to Denver, Collins, and Mason!
Beautiful song. Thank you for posting it here. Since I was a teenager, and I am 61 now, John Denver has been my favorite singer. His songs are amazing, some powerful, some haunting, some soft and calming. All are perfection.
This got released recently and when I first listened to it my favorite part is 0:53 to 1:03 and the beat and rhythm of this song is so amazing of how he made this. And after the years keep passing more songs will be released
John Denver never retired. He passed from this earth in a plane crash on October 12th, 1997. His music lives on, but let's not deny reality. I don't think John would have supported that.
Unfortunately his death was too soon and horribly tragic. I believe he is alive on the other side of the veil where we all will sometime be and is aware of how he is missed.
