Georgina's Journey Super excited that your posting from georgina's Journey again! Does that mean we're getting a return? It's way to early for Christmas! They've got baubles in the window & tinsel now. After my birthday Christmas is allowed to start! X
familypeacelove I've been a vegetarian for 10 years now but cutting the dairy and gluten has really helped with my Gi symptoms. I also found I was intolerant to really random things like quinoa. I don't have refined sugar, caffeine or alcohol as it affects my pots too badly x
Chronically Jenni good to know. sadly I felt worse on my vegan diet. I am also type 2 diabetic so need to be lower carbs too.so I couldn't make it work. I don't eat meat eggs or cow dairy just goat dairy and fish I feel I need animal protein. my nutritionist said so too based off my symptoms. its hard when your body is always playing up. She said I needed good quality omega 3 etc which is easy to extract from fish than it is from things like flaxseed the body has a harder time converting from that. Also the protein she said we need extra so I wasn't getting enough at all (I use cronometer) because beans and quinoa are high carb and my blood sugar can't tolerate a lot
I never thought we needed animal protein . I have been on and off the vegan diet for ethical reasons. bit especially with my cfs I felt weaker without the fish and stuff . It's hard to explain. It made a bad situation worse is what I mean to say xx
It's different for different people. At the EDS UK & HMSA conference they were talking alot about research that needs to be done into nutrition and what a bendy body needs to stay healthy. Everyone needs different things to get their own balance right and you tend to find out what upsets you pretty quickly. x Spoons & Love x

I also don't ear wheat / gluten and very little white sugar mostly in the form of 70 % chocolate
