Really nice Scotty. Bob and Chris were so friendly. You sure know your stuff about all those bands and you were so happy being there. “Hallowed Ground” I know exactly what you mean. One can really feel the presence of the people they love. Everything comes to life in the mind. That’s my feeling. Not sure what other people think. The studio is really cool. Maybe one day you can record a song for us.😎 All the best. Stay safe. Take care. Love from all of us. ❤️✌🏼💕
If you listen to all the Foo Fighters' albums side by side, all the recordings after the first were much more polished and produced. What a beautiful recording studio! I would give anything to record again😕 you needs a couple of hundred dollars 💵 to record in a studio. I payed $500 for 1 hour to make my demo back in high school for 3 songs😔 Man, back in 2001 was the best days of my life! This was so awesome Scott thank you so much! You are amazing my friend🙂 I’m gonna tell all my Pittsburgh peeps and family to watch your vids! Keep on rocking😆🥰❤️👍🏻
Wow, I'm diggin these vids of nirvana. This one is cool, I like the economy chamber, mixing board, etc. Very informative. I'm sure the members of Nirvana enjoyed recording at this luxurious studio. Very cool, and you always leave no stone unturned when asking questions and exploring. I grew up listening to many of the bands you all mentioned. Fun nastalgia, and the music still sounds great even today.
Thank you so much ! I always have a million questions but i don’t write any down as I like my conversations to be organic and not forced and I always forget to ask some . Really appreciate the comment!

Dave is one of the most down to earth and funny/goofball an cool/chill person ever.. back in 92 when they hit it big he bought his first home here in my area on the outer banks of NC an the best part is he basically lived here during a good part of 92 and would literally hangout at a places called Mex-Econo’s in kill devil hills NC an he would literally act like one of the guys an didn’t act like his crap didn’t stink.. just like he said in the video they are just regular people with different jobs.. Dave’s mom Virginia and sister Lisa would stay here with him a lot and His sister Lisa actually was cool lol she would work the door at night bc Mex-Econo was a place that played a lot of underground music and had the best fish tacos ever 👍🏻 She was dating one of the co owners also but seriously Dave was awesome and would shoot pool an even jump on the drums every now an then.. I need to dig in my storage an see if I can old pictures an some video of it.. it always makes me smile when I see a picture of Dave while in Nirvana sporting that Mex-Econo hat lol actually that one big Nirvana poster you can see it it’s that one picture where Kurt’s in the middle and Krist and Dave are behind him but Krist is leaning out from behind Kurt in Kurt’s right side and opposite for Dave
