you could use a single phase rectifier . the circular piece of wood could have been metal
after that rectifier u connect wire direct to 12 volt battery or use some control circuit . and second what will happen when high speed wind starts in that area ?

◾◾◾Did you not use a band between the magnets and the edge of the ceiling fan casement? Is it even necessary? Can one just glue the neodymium magnets to inside of the metal ceiling fan case? Thanks.
Cyrus Ramsey yes I used a band needed bigger magnets, didn't have them at that time, the the case is made of aluminum, magnet won't stick to it,all so most covers have supported knobs,to support the original ring
did you connect that direct to the battery bank or you use a controller before connecting to the battery? can i use the solar charge controller as wind turbine charge controller? thank you and Godbless

maybe, might be dead now after the tornados hit, I didn't have time to bother, when running to a sheltering basement in power out conditions .
Wow! Hope everything and everybody survived OK. I definitely know what you were going through. We live at the lower end of tornado alley, so we get severe weather pretty often here. The high heat we got eat makes those storms even worse.
thanks, 6 people were injured now they said no one died but some are still missing. because multiple tornadoes struck land but nothing is being said, but it is a scary situation because it happened at night thanks again and be safe its getting crazy all over the place

U need reconnect the coil wiring,make it 3 phase,for more ac out put..
FOR MY BUILD i USED A STEEL DRILL BIT AND DRILLED A 1/2" DEEP HOLE INTO THE ALUMINIUM RING COUNTER TO EVERY OUTSIDE COIL THEN SUPER GLUED MY MAGNETS INTO THE HOLES. TO ENSURE THE MAGNETS WERE FLUSH I USED A DREMEL TO SAND DOWN THE SURFACE MAKING THE MAGNETS SIT AS CLOSE AS POSSIBLE TO THE COILS. THEN USING THE HIGHEST RESISTANT SET OF THE FOUR WIRES CONNECTED THE REMAINING TWO IN SERIES CREATED THE HIGHEST PRODUCED AC OUTPUT I HAD EVER SEEN HIGHER THAN ANYONE'S ON TH-cam...................
I am doing the same Joe with a big 212mm x 28mm ceiling fan motor. Can you please tell me why you put the magnets in NN SS NN configuration because when it will spin it will be N and S on the same coil and wont be so efficient.
Hey man...Don't you have any tripod or some sort of stand to hold your video capturing device (what ever it is, a movie camera or a mobile phone).
