That is so cool, I never even thought to do this with my millet. The mice would be a huge problem where I am though. SO might need to grow it indoors....
Super cool! I’ve been meaning to grow spray millet for my budgie Indi for such a long time, I better get around to it! It’s spring here in Australia at the moment so it’s the perfect time to plant some!
Remove some of the seeds and place them in a moistened paper towel and then slip it into a ziplock bag. Within just a few days MANY of them will sprout!
hi donna i have a question from your experience can budgie nail grow back if they ripped off my budgie nail got stuck in fabric and her nail ripped off there is no blood but it made me feel so upset she is fine but am worried that it may affect her in future i heard that nail never go back is this true

May I ask where you live? I live in NY. Would it grow here?

WOW! Everyone loves the homegrown millet! I should try growing some for my birds next year! :D
I always wanted to see my millet grow 🤣 but wild birds eat it
Just get a cover for it. Get the garden netting.
Thanks you for helping the birds all over the world 🙂
This home grown millet is a big hit with your birds. I can see that the 24 pieces you obtained (large and small) won't be around very long.
this is amazing! I have 2 lovebirds and 2 budgies who I'm obsessed with and love your channel!! Very educational and inspiring 🤗
Beautiful bitd family!
Thank you 😊
Omg! Your bird room is AMAZING! I dream of having a setup like that someday 😍
Congratulations on your experiment! That will be the best they ever had!
Thank you
Interesting and inspiring video .. I liked your written talking between the birds .. it is very funny
Nothing like Momma’s homemade! 💚🦜❤️🦜💙🦜🤍

It is very cool & creative
I remember when you did that. Wow, it turned out so well! I'll have to try this next spring.
I planted some in a big pot then covered the whole thing with netting to keep critters away.
I had a net on it while it was growing but then it got too big for my net. Next year I will get a bigger netting for it. It was exciting to grow.
My budgies are scared of the spray millet that I grew lol
Excelent. You are very inspirating 👍
Loved their conversation, some were just a little selfish. Ha
Really interesting to see.....The spray millet has almost the same colour like Fantasy!:)
Wow! That was a lovely video 😍❤️💯👌🏻
Wow fabulous work
Amazing..millet sprays are bit expensive..
You can sprout it first to get it going faster.
The green one is milky, any grains will do. I heard it's more delicious!
Can't wait to try this in the spring! Wonder if deer like it? I hope not.
I wonder. My hamster used to eat it not sure about deer.
They love grasses and grains like this so you may want to fence it off. Or grow deer repellent plants around it.
You don’t need put hole melet in the ground just put one small bowl 🥣 seeds and you can grow more lot ✌🏻
I just wanted to experiment planting a whole millet spray. Next year I will plant seeds throughout 😀
Sprout a whole piece then plant each sprout separately or just a couple pieces in each hole.
Remove some of the seeds and place them in a moistened paper towel and then slip it into a ziplock bag. Within just a few days MANY of them will sprout!
how long did it take to grow?
Hi, great idea and cost effective. Does the millet have to be dry before birds can eat or can it be green?
Hi, I have fed it green just before turning brown and my birds enjoyed it. So either way is fine
How often do you water after you plant the spray and use full sun or partial?
Hi, I watered at least once a day but when it was really hot and the soil was dry I watered twice a day.

Hi. It depends on how much damage there is on the nail bed. Sometimes they don't grow back
Hey, I have a request would you like to share a taming new bird vedio pls,
By the way the millet has grown superb😍😍😍
I will do my best to make a video like that.
Pls try, thanks for replying 🐥🐥
