I have used same lights on my Honda cb 350 and it costed me all inclusive 15500 including labour for installation. Trust me it gave me life the original led headlight was pathetic. I was frequent traveling from mumbai to pune n Nasik. In city too i used it wherever there were dark roads. Though RE has officially launchrd its aux lights don't know how much their luminous intensity is.
Finally someone who has actually done some legitimate research. This is some quality content. The "thumb rule" police use is the aux lights should be placed lower than your indicators. As long as this condition is met, you are okay.
But don't recommend nighteye, please. Nighteye is for blinding people. Isse accha osram 4200k 50w laga lete, beam pattern bhi best h, logon ke aankhon me bhi stress nhi pdega

@@nikhilc3933 bhai police apne country ki utni aware hai nahi, agar unhone notice kar liya to chances hai ki challan kat jaaye, but if your setup is as per norms you can defend it in court, but can you take such pain. My opinion is to place your lights down and keep it covered in city and you are sorted. I have been riding like this from a dacade now and never got a challan for AUX light and i make sure my lights should never blind some one. I try to ride and drive (car) at low beams until high beam is absolutely needed.

@@DerperDoing i saw all, delta is square in shape and dosent goes well the aesthetics of the bike also its 6400 lumens , whereas alpha is 9600 lumens, i went with the logic of bigger is better, as i drive a lot in country side trails and in mountains and i need more light

Nice video bro. Is the harness and switch necessary what if I just use a normal 3 way switch and normally ignition aur switch ko connect krdu ya would you still recommend maddog ka hi harness and all cuz I havent used in harness ab tak bikr mai i have a classic 350

Great video! I am planning to get the Mad dogs for my Himalayan, How is the throw on the highway with the location where you have placed? Everyone is getting it installed on the cage and not on the engine guards the problem is that if the bike has a crash most likely the lights will get damaged. I have the same OEM engine guard and thinking should i install it on the same place like you have
Firstly i am really impressed with these lights, i believe little expensive as HJGs are also good for less price but there is very less chance you will find them original as lot of local floating around. Install them within the guard in that case there is less chance you will damage them, and also install frame sliders on your gaurd, that will provide some extra protection in case of a fall.
@@VarunDayanand see if you need to see ahead then place the lights little higher, thats what i explained in the video too. Better get a good adjustable clamp, in highway honestly these are good, don’t use yellow filters in highway and adjust for long throw.
Thanks bro, quite informative. But one advice is never try to teach or correct the cops in India on the roads, unless you have some higher up contacts to call up. Most of the time, their ego gets hurt and they can make your life miserable. You try to show them the Motor Vehicle Act document, they will try to find a lot of faults with your vehicle, say things like dirty number plate and all. So act friendly, apologize profusely and you might even get out of the challan too. Cheers!

Don't fall in this trap,don't install these fog lights on ur bike ,if traffic police are determined to squeeze (as per their nature) ur pocket,then they will do.if u r fortunate(chances are very low) they may release you with some harassment. Ur youtube knowledge will not work there. I have shown the same document of the Ministry of Road transport & highway but they were not bothered about that.

Challan or no challan depnds on the police officer. I tried explaining this to the officer, he laughed his ass off and gave me 700Rs challan. Indian Law enforcement is filled with uneducated idiots who have no interest to listen to the public, and incorporate new ideas into their standards of policing. Guess what suggestion officer gave me: If stock headlamps are not sufficient for night drives, then avoid driving at the night.

Officer claimed its modified, they argued with him and officer took their documents and send them away to nearest police station. God knows what happened to those guys. I just paid the fine and left. Apart from that challan issued wasn't electronic. They printed a receipt and demanded cash payment. Idiots can't differentiate between two cylinder engine bike and bike with modified exhaust.
