Props to him for using practical effects for the big sets.
GENIUS!
High praise to get a compliment from George Lucas.
Jon M Chi has the vision of what the movie audience wants to see and hear.
Almost sure he’ll direct Hamilton. That’s 4 - 5 years from now. 😎⭐️
I would love for him to do a film adaptation of Lin Manuel Miranda’s Hamilton next for Warner Bros
I have had a successful career, etc. and I cannot imagine the talent genius and insight people like Mr. Chu have. set design, the actors, the technical, the filming, and so on. it seems unattainable.
Amazing what you can do with a budget of $150 million
Crazy thing is most of that “real” stuff like the wizard head and the train still looked CGI to a trained eye soooo Oops?
The practical sets make a big difference when you watch it on IMAX or 3D.
