Thank you I was going crazy trying to remember if a nut went on that stud on the oil filter housing. Awesome build.

Hello Ryan! Do you know the bolt specs (thread/length) for the upper and lower oil pan?

Too late for you Ryan but I recommend glass bead vapor blasting for the raw cast aluminium. Comes up like new and, maybe stupid, seems to me to close off the pores in the surface. Had all my TT piping done and looks great a year on.

I used a fine bristle stainless brush in a high speed air tool to clean up my upper oil pan. Came out pretty clean. Kills me not having every part I need but these cars are expensive so it's one part at a time for me. On the plus side I have lots of time to clean up old parts and make them look new again. Learning a lot watching your stuff, there are a bunch of new tricks since I was really focused on 2j's. ^^b

PHR also makes a oil pressure relocation kit, so once you remove AC to install npt thread and AN mine to reposition OP sensor and never have to remove again.

Eagle one etching wheel cleaner has acid in it and will eat away all that corrosion on the oil pan since it's raw aluminum. It works really well on stuff like that

I would have put some blue loctite on the bolts going on the inside of the pan.
