Sorry Harold but talent isn't everything. 90% of performance comes from the effort you put in even if you have talent; ie practice, picking the right songs, having a goal in mind & knowing the audience.
He was abandoned by his mon and dad on the streets of the Manila as a young child! He taught himself to sing because he was so lonely and he discovered he could sing both male and female and he just kept singing like that to keep him happy! God gives people hidden talents.
He was actually adopted by a Police Officer and discovered his unique talent while working at a poultry farm according to other's comments and his Season 2 Philippines Got Talent Audition.

I loved your reaction. I have no formal music training, but I do agree with you that this would be a very difficult song to sing in two different voices with the quick changes. This Filipino man is impressive and I am proud of this man ( I am half Filipino).
i totally agree with you when you said that you didnt agrre with Simon's comments. singing two different voices switching in between both voices in a sec is not easy. you are a great artist Maggie Renee.
I've heard that he comforted himself by singing, while living on the street. And when his voice changed, he just persisted in keeping his singing voice in the same range it'd been before. Later, someone pointed out that, with a post-puberty voice, he could now sing low as well as high. On the Wish Bus performance, he was sitting down, so there goes about 30% of his lung power. Plus doing Italian phonetically. What to do next? Check him on the Wish Bus again, doing Power of Love and imitating ONLY Celine. See what you think.

You should watch him switch super fast back and forth in this daytime show called Showtime. He was doing what they called a remote control challenge where the host pretends to hold and press a remote. Each press, Marcelito needs to change voices. It was mindboggling how fast he switched at the whim of the host 😂 New to your channel and subbed. I totally agree with your comments. Marcelito improved a lot in regards to breathing techniques. It helped make his switching from female to male voice sound much better. If you would watch his first TV performance in a local TV show, I think that is Philippines Got Talent (PGT), you will notice that he lacked technique then. I am just so proud of how long he has come to perfecting his art. I was not a fan then but I am now. Love from PH.

I think Simon is truly commenting on his raw talent. He could do more with larger songs if he had some more training. His voice now is raw and an anomaly but it could be so much better.

He is so amazing he really was cheated out of the AGT champion win and Howie even said he had the. Sat shot at winning the entire show, but said he wanted to hold on to his Holden buzzer because it was early in the show! Which was not true. If anyone deserves the golden buzzer it was

Since he had no resources to train properly, he figured out a way to be a good singer...he swallowed two singing superstars and spat 'em out just like that. Juz kidding!

I think Simon is truly commenting on his raw talent. He could do more with larger songs if he had some more training. His voice now is raw and an anomaly but it could be so much better.
