@@maggiereneemusic, Hello my favorite reactor. I would like to suggest a singer from Brazil. He sings songs from the like of Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, and Celine Dion. Every male singer can learn this, it's called head voice/mixed voice, and it's a combination of chest voice and falsetto, not just doing falsetto alone.
If he can do this through self training, just imagine what he could do with professional training/coaching. He could be world-class, selling out the largest venues. He already sounds really good, but with a 2-3 year commitment at Julliard or similar training regimen, he could enter a stage with a renound name the likes of Luciano Pavarotti in just a few years following serious training and good management.

Really what amazing with Marcelito is he didn’t have formal classical training nor any singing/voice lesson like Dimash. He came from a poor background and taught himself how to sing by watching television, listening to radio and singing karaoke. Just imagine how better he can be if he had the proper training like you. I’m really glad you did a proper analysis of his vocal techniques. As the saying goes, the only room that can’t be filled is the room for improvement. Marcelito is a great singer but can be greater if he gets the proper training.
Marcelito is Marcelito, Dimash is Dimash. They different people and both are good. Dimash practice more profecional lessons than Marcelito. Evry human has some talent. One use is a good way(Dimash), other use only amators way(Marcelito). And some people doesn't discover own talent. Marcelito is like Amira Willighagen. She was young when she was in Holland's Got Talend. After program she started profecional training vocal. Marcelito has talent and he should start profecional training.
xxx xxx I agree, but it’s easier to learn skills when you’re younger than as an adult. It’s difficult to rectify bad habits (in singing) than creating a new one. That’s why you get a great advantage of being trained in your younger years because you develop the proper techniques earlier. That’s what Dimash got because he has both parents as classical artists to guide him. Marcelito, on the other hand, didn’t even have the presence of his parents when he was growing up and have to help himself by working odd jobs to support himself to survive. Then he taught himself how to sing and developed his skills without the guides that Dimash had. So I admire him more because of that. I believe, if someone is given the same trainings and privileges like Dimash, he can be as good as Dimash.
@@joelramirez8388 Yes. It's live. Dimash had more happiness, but he had practice a lot. Dimash isn't only practice he has natural potential. It's use all by him and now he's compleate artist. Marcelito had other way and it's all. Both have talent.

When he was on America's Got Talent season 2 backstory explained how he could sing the male in the female. Through a series of events his mother and father and he had to grow up on the street in the Philippines. He said that he would be so lonely that he learn to sing in both registers. He learned to sing in both registers to keep himself company.
Growing up as an orphan on the streets when he should've been in school, the only language Marcelito is really fluent in is his native Philippine Tagalog. However listening carefully to the words phonetically, he is famous for being able to imitate any singer, man or woman, in any language. Listen to him sing Despacito for Spanish. I've also heard him sing in Chinese and even do a great imitation of Michael Jackson complete with all the dance moves!
That is awesome! I search for him quite a bit and always listen and replay him singing the Prayer over and over again! It always feels like I'm hearing it for the first time! You realize thst he was homeless in the Philippines and started singing at 7yrs and not until 18 yrs of age he did realize that he could sing high notes as well. People had encouraged him to sing and join contests but didn't feel he was good at all. With that said, he had no formal training as he was so poor and living on the streets. He took gog like the one you showcased to get paid 50 pesos (= to $1 if the conversion rate is good and that is very good although it could go as high as 55 pesos to a dollar) just enough to eat but then go back to sleeping on the streets for the night. Thank God he joined Philippines Got Talent and won so now he can sing , eat and sleep! Great story to go with that great voice! Thank you for covering it! I love your show and just subscribed! I love how intricate and technical you explain each aspects of how each artists use their voices in your videos unlike most reactions. We get to learn a whole lot more and appreciate the song.
Marcelito had no formal training. He taught himself while doing odd jobs when their parents abandoned him and his siblings. He joined singing competitions which was his road to fame.
I actually find more joy as beautiful as his voice(s) are watching your facial reactions to it they say a face paints a 1000 words it’s so was fun watching yours lol 😂
beautiful reaction to marcelito s voice. hope you continue sharing us your reactions because i need to really understand the vicissitudes of music, its secrets, its entirety and meaning in life. god bless you my dear
That was definitely unexpected, I loved hearing his Bocelli rendition, it was so clean, and the transitions sounded impeccable. As I side note it's great to see how expressive you are during a video as though you're hearing yourself singing along and performing 🙏
It says so much on how the human voice can be so touching. Something so beautiful as a gift like this can only be granted to us by a divine creator. God is good!
I'm honestly even more impressed at the switching between English and Italian. Also - the Italian pronunciation sounds *great* (- I don't speak Italian, so I cannot comment on how accurate it actually is - but it SOUNDS great.)
He doesn't speak Italian at all, but I've seen Italians react to this and they say his pronunciation is very good though he pauses for a breath in the middle of an Italian word at one point. He's not very confident in English, probably because he didn't have any schooling until he was a teenager. If you watch the beginning when he says to click below to subscribe, he immediately looks off to the side as if to ask "Did I say that right?"
I think he's Italian is quite good because of his familiarity with Spanish. I don't speak Italian, but I'm very familiar with it and I could read it quite well (the intonation might be a bit troublesome), because of my mother tongue and because I can speak a bit of Spanish. English is also popular in the Philippines, but he didn't speak it back then, despite the familiarity. He does a good job indeed.
The simplicity of the music accompaniment is unlike Celine Dion's or Andrea Bocelli's orchestra adds to the purity of his voice. Not too many foreign listening audience know how he developed his singing style without professional training was purely his own, inspired by Celine Dion he idolizes. Marcelito is a Philippine national treasure in the art. And I am a proud Filipino fan. God bless you Marcelito.

What a great review & reaction. Yes going from Counter Tenor to Baritone is not easy. A special talent. He has never had any professional training. Self taught.
Marcelito Pomoy was born in Imus, Cavite and raised in Bislig City, Surigao del Sur, Philippines. When he was young, his father was incarcerated while his mother left him alone with his younger sibling and went to Manila. He was later adopted by a police officer and did odd jobs when he was a teenager. He has no formal training in singing, it is just a pure God-given talent and perseverance to learn singing.

It's truly amazing that he has a more complete control over his voice to go from baritone/ bass to tinnor like the flick of a switch. Truly amazing.

So beautiful,thanks for Sharing.God Bless you all\
Thank you too
That was definitely unexpected, I loved hearing his Bocelli rendition, it was so clean, and the transitions sounded impeccable. As I side note it's great to see how expressive you are during a video as though you're hearing yourself singing along and performing 🙏
Thank you for your lovely comment and for watching my video until the end. I appreciate it. 😁❤🙏🏻
Not only does he sing in two voices but also two languages neither of which is his native language that makes it even more impressive to me
Unique voice of Marcelito w/out training course makes him more phenomenal . And Pilipinos love him for that. Own self training .
Thanks for the info! 😁
I'm already in love with her. 😍😍😍
He's self taught. He lived on the streets. Music was his escape.
Thank you for your lovely comment. Hope to see you tomorrow at my new Premiere?
It says so much on how the human voice can be so touching. Something so beautiful as a gift like this can only be granted to us by a divine creator. God is good!
I'm honestly even more impressed at the switching between English and Italian. Also - the Italian pronunciation sounds *great* (- I don't speak Italian, so I cannot comment on how accurate it actually is - but it SOUNDS great.)
the Italian pronunciation it's very accurate even though in a few cases he used the Spanish one, but it's ok, still way better than other singers 👍👍👍
I was and got as surprised as you..loved the look of your face😬😂👍

The simplicity of the music accompaniment is unlike Celine Dion's or Andrea Bocelli's orchestra adds to the purity of his voice. Not too many foreign listening audience know how he developed his singing style without professional training was purely his own, inspired by Celine Dion he idolizes. Marcelito is a Philippine national treasure in the art. And I am a proud Filipino fan. God bless you Marcelito.

He was homeless from age 7 until age 24. He literally would sing for his meals. Then he won Philippines got talent with this song.
Girl, I swear I lmfao (if that's the term lol) when Marcelito dropped the very first note with a female voice. You're facial reaction was priceless! Oh wait, the real surprise was when he can switch to two voices with ease! I love your reaction!!!

What a great review & reaction. Yes going from Counter Tenor to Baritone is not easy. A special talent. He has never had any professional training. Self taught.
So glad you enjoyed!
