I can't tell you how helpful this is as a new player. I've tried for hours to find guides on all these addons but they all assume you know what you're doing. I had no idea where to start so this has been amazing. I can finally track party members debuffs as WHM, yey!
Just wanted to drop my two cents and sub for how incredibly helpfuly you've been to me as a brand-spanking new FFXI player trying out Horizon. If you wanna make any more guides to help out this poor soul, it would be appreciated a lot.
This also seems to affect the names above players , infact to the point where i can not even see what peoples names using a 4k screen.The ui is nice but can something but done with the names on players/npcs etc
How do you resize everything? It's all microscopic at the top left of my screen, and the area to click and drag things is at the bottom let of the screen.
@Trevor Rollingson I was playing on my TV using steam deck. I had to set my display to only display in the TV and turn all of my resolutions to 720p. Then, I was able to drag things around like normal, and it was readable. However, my recast timer became gigantic, so I had to go onto that file and cut the font size in half. It's still a bit too big but I'm tired of spending more time on my settings than actually playing.
Like the UI but have a slight issue. Type hxui on brings up a blue config bar and can not click. Able to move bars around except currency. Was able to move around gil in notepad plus but missing color to the hp, mp, tp bar and no gil symbol. Every other thing works fine.
They just recently updated the UI, I would recommend joining my Discord and asking your questions in general chat. Somebody there might be more knowledgeable.
There is an extremely small, subtle color change when you mouse over the correct selection. You have to like really get close and pay attention. That’s the way I was able to do it just move your mouse very slowly.
I don’t think I swing timer is really necessary for a game like this. Swings are not that often. It should be very easy for you to manage abilities using the given system.
@@HiroVisionGaming Nothing is "necessary" but it's always nice to have things available to react to, having extremely long swing timers can be a tad annoying if you weren't paying attention fully and want to close a WS chain but don't know if your next swing comes in time to gain extra TP before firing it off etc etc etc. It's not needed but a good quality of life feature.
Swing timer would be very useful to maximize damage also to help kiting and moving mobs while solo for max xp. Unfortunately, unlike WoW or something, swing timer seems to be server side or something, could be wrong. Even rest tick timers are pretty inaccurate despite it should be following a basic 20-10-10-10.. pattern

That is very strange, I have not heard of that error at all. I would recommend just removing anything that you changed. It will go back to the way it was.

Been using HXUI for a couple weeks now, its fantastic. Best UI for ashita hands down!

Do i have to download Ashita and use this UI for retail?? Im using windower and im assuming it doesnt work woth windower i take it?

Any idea how to use this without mini map disappearing?
The Minimap reloaded for me as soon as I left my moghouse, try zoning to see if that helps.

I turned off the ui mod because I like the mini map and don't remember if I tried zoning.
Can you use this with a windower?
I started to move the bars, it wont let me move them again.... not sure why or how to fix. if you know a fix for this let me know. great video btw
