you have to have an orderly mind to do that.....how do you keep track of all the pins and retainers and clips and spacers and o-rings and seals and keys and bushings and etc that goes on one single shaft of one side of one gear? do you ever come to the end of an assembly and find that you have a clip or spring or bolt left over that didn't go back in? you might see this particular type of engine only once a year...how do you reassemble it? do you follow a re-assembly manual with photos and diagrams and written instructions? or do you just know where everything should go?
I had one of those yamaha dt lanza 230 cc bikes from the year 2000 it was very good driving stability and very fast at the top speed, unfortunately the engine seized because due to lack of lubrication in the mixture it broke the piston and the segment scratched the cylinder... And unfortunately I had to sell the bike at a very low price, due to lack of material...
What do you mean by lack of material? In those cases you have to machine the cylinder again and buy a new piston. And check if the lubrification is fine, maybe it was lack of oil to the piston.

It's because the Lanza is sort of a premium in the DT line, with electric starter and digital instruments which later came to the DT125 in Europe
