You can't called this a restoration painting a oil / coolant tank black & not sticking to the right colours hes even painted the spokes Lol a restoration is all new plastics & done to the correct colours re plateing all the hardware or replacing it he could of got dt125re plastics for this 230lanza. all that paint will come off in a month believe been i arnt been funny or anything ino what's what when it comes to restoration of a motorcycle originally is the key dont spoil a lovely classic

Take notice on how these guys use the bare minimum of the material they have on hand like when it comes to cleaning off parts and repairing. I love it. In the US, we would run to some store and buy all kinds of cleaners and degreasers and kinda wasteful with it. These guys are incredible and they don’t use a huge shop full of expensive tools, just bare minimum.
·Are you sure there's enough substance left in the rear swing arm for it to be safe? ·Did the gross liquid cylinder head "gasket" last until the end of the video, or was the gunk leaking already? Except for these two points I definitely love the result of your work there.

May as well sell what i got at a loss and put that money towards saving for a new bike. I always get defeated. I gotta quit making piss-poor choices. I always see the diamond in the rough, but i can't get it out and then i end up loosing my ass in resale. Kudos to you guys. You're really good.
You are being hard on yourself man ! If this is your dream bike, than do everything in small steps. You can use aerosol paints now as they are all of fantastic quality. No compressors needed. Guys are building magazine quality old bikes with hand tools and electric drills. This man here didn’t start out at this level, but you could attain his results on your first build. If you have this bike, it’s BAD ASS. You tube makes it easy to do any process and dirt bike engines are very easy and forgiving to work on in the home shop! Go for it!
great work, one thing Ive noticed from Asian, Indian, Pakistani bike restorers is they reuse the old nuts, bolts, screws and washers, they work to high standards, paint every surface, use quality bearings and seals SKF KOSO etc but i think using rusted fixings lets the final finish down, stainless steel Allen bolt kits are not expensive and look great, plus you don't have to carry loads of spanners, just 4 or 5 Allen bolt wrenches, but it still scores 10/10 ..bravo,
fabulous job bud! it took me a month to get my DT200R frame to bare metal, and the swingarm with paint stripper and a grinder and steel wool, I need a sand blaster. was that aluminum brazing rods you were using? those old lanza"s are rare!

Something about watching someone rebuild a whole motorcycle in sandals on their porch makes me feel ok changing my own oil and doing my air pressure in a garage with tools. Damn I suck at this maintenance thing.
