Thank you! speaking of barbarians: The weeping hollow (west of cemetary of forsaken) has a good density of low hp mobs and i often find legendaries there. The way to farm it is to start in one of the upper corners and go around the map in a circular fashion while moving to the creamy core. Use the leftovers for gaining fury and you will also get a decent amount of monster kills, at least around 500-600 if doing it properly.
The 1.42 base attack speed from 1.41 is very important. Brings run like the wind tornados to tick from 15 to 17 times, which then generates a lot more fury for WotB. Also rend is not effected by attack speed so going above is not required.

Exactly, I took your advice to use 5 peace IK set and bought quite cheap set peaces, swapping them with even more expencive peaces I allready had on. Changing from double tornado, fury MH weapon, build to Skorn rend build made me jump from MP5 to MP10, quite a bit of a difference. My whole gear is only worth arround 200M.
The mobs in FoM have about 3 to 3.5 million HP. So, in order for you to kill them, your Rend has to crit for that amount. If you also want to kill the bulls, your Rend has to crit for 5 to 6 million, if I remember correctly.

I have got just an other question because everybody is only writing and talking about how to get legendaries. Like there is no one who needs to level Paragon anymore.
So my question is: What is important if you want to farm xp? Simply high mop density or farming on lower MP and stacking Nephalem?

if you are farming for demonic essences i'd say yes , it's not that much longer in time consuming to do it , theres always a chest there that may drop a demonic and the boss that can drop a demonic aswell as legendary , also have a huge density of zombie down there if you let them spread out.

I totally agree,I was running multiple runs in MP8 in FoM with a few DC and got about 5-6 legendary/h at 18 Paragon.:)
I don't mind your videos being so long. In fact I like it that they are lengthy. I know your accent is a sensitive issue with you, so I'm not gonna discuss that (although I am an English teacher who is kind of a pronunciation Nazi ;-) ), but I'll just say that I'm really glad you actually have managed to keep your promise and have been posting videos a lot more often lately! If you were to kill a champ pack with a full stack of valor that pack has a guaranteed chance of dropping a 4 - affix rare or higher, so technically yes stacks do help in increasing your chances of getting legendaries.

As Moldran stated, blizz nerfed white mob drops by a bit. FoM was the only area that was unaffected.
Crypts exp is lacking compared to other areas. I still get 220mil per hour in a2, while 180mil in FoM/Crypts.
I have quit playing D3, but i am still watching Moldrans vids frequently :) and i dont know why hahaha
The AH is not easy unless you put a lot of time in. About 2 weeks ago I made a video on gearing a CM Freeze wizard and got a LOT of gear for ~100m; I bought extras just to show it was there, and I also was buying gear that I figured would upgrade my WD (some of it did), etc. The last week or so I cannot find almost ANY comparable gear at comparable prices. Not because of me, my channel is still quite small, but.. the prices fluctuate like mad.. They really do. Best thing is patience.

I remember when Moldran was saying barbs cannot do MP10 and was racing Invis and Avoid at MP5.
Fast forward... barbs are the best class to farm MP10.

Moldran, how much unbuffed DPS do you think it's necessary to run fields? (Or Weapon Damge + avg dmg?) How dou you think an IAs Skorn would affect that?
Do you think the same breakpoints from your budget barbarians (like the 500 mi gold giveaway build), except for the IAS, would do?

I just do a big bircle and then finally I do the middle section. And you don't need any NV stacks - I did this for 2 hours with a paragon 30 barb and got 9 legendaries... So it's a quite good way to get good items AND get some decent exp :)
im really low gear and have tons of fun, just work a good build out. with the monster level system you can hoose the difficulty yourself so that it is fun.
Hi Moldran. I love your channel i noticed that you guys (streamera) are having trouble making new content for diablo 3. But i got disapointed that you didnt mentioned monster power and i would really love to see you making a video about auction house tips cause we, the casual players have serious problems on matters like how to price our drops and what to buy, like the life steal x life on hit discussion. Keep up the good work and stop showing ur bike and chair please.

The decaying crypt feels much like weeping hollow though, which is why i used to skip that in the past. Can you confirm crypt>weeping hollow?
Hopefully the next big patch in November (1month after consoles) will mitigate that problem.
Tnx alot moldran ive farmed countless hour with 1.66 attack speed and never though of breakpoints,but thtat 1 Point of attack speed extra is so incredible much more fury generation,tnx alot,now i can spin like a killing fury generation machine lol :D!

Kills = loot in this game. Crypt monster density is insane, you get as much xp in there as you do from the entire rest of the Alkaizer 2.0 run combined. Naturally the loot matches.
wait, FoM is better than all the A2 areas? I thought it ranked #5 or something in one of your older vids.
What's the route? Do you just keep going to fields of misery asap with no NV stacks?
I think some1 did a post if this on the forums. Crypts are only 70% efficient exp-wise compared to FoM. So if your maxing exp, skip it :P

Would love you to show me how to improve my gear for mp10. I am currently farming on mp7 and not even able to kill mobs with one rend.I'm playing on EU :-)
Also droprates currently are a bit on the low side. I leveled from p80-81 without one legendary farming fom non stop :P
And what about NV stacks? Are they useless in farming legendaries? And what about farming in group? How much less efficient that becomes? Anyone knows?
I haven't really used rend a lot, I like the OP/HOTA build right now. But I only have ~150K unbuffed DPS. I certainly cannot drop trash mobs with 1 rend with my DPS - I think. Haven't tested it. But, yea.. I don't have thousands of dollars worth of gear. Maybe not even hundreds. I just posted a video today of me dropping MP10 elites in ~1 minute with much less gear than what you have.. but if you did what I'm doing, it'd be faster.. gear helps.
I found a farming bug with a monk running cyclone strike (with extra range rune) and a DH running bombardment i average 3-6 legs a run on mp2-3 we are not sure why but we think its killing multiple monsters in 1 second very effective im only 60 para on my dh too
By the way miss u yesterday in the charity event i´m sure u would have do it great in the EU team!

can some1 tell me if its a difference with or without nephalem 5 stack to farm legendaries? is the paragon level important for legendary farming? (im level 82 on mp10)
3-6 legs isn't that insane. And it has nothing to do with "killing many mobs in 1 second". If, of course, that leads to you killing 6k to 10k mobs per HOUR, that's awesome. But it has NOTHING to do with the amount of mobs killed in a second.
It doesn't matter, of you kill 1 mob per second or 20 mobs over the course of 3 seconds. You still killed 3600 mobs in an hour (60 mobs per minute)
Also, it's not a bug. Cyclone Strike works as intended. You could pair that with a CM Wiz. It's quite awesome
Dude, what are you talking about? You don't even need spreadsheets, just count the bars. Runs with a crypt give about double what runs without a crypt did. The zombies are just that good.
Yeah, they nerfed some enemies right before 1.08 but not enough to break the kills = loot correlation, especially when you can kill 10 or more enemies in the same time it takes for 1 tree/beast/unburied...

I think I have a 600 - 700 hours played now.. it wasnt until the last few weeks I had 2 good witching hours drop, a good tal rasha's relentless pursuit.. and.. got a skorn that was dam close to being very nice. It wasn't. =( Only 1350 DPS, 200 CD, but it had a double primary stat.. str and int. If it had higher dps, str/ls, or even str/vit maybe, int/ls, dex/ls, etc.. would have been awesome.. BTW I can barely afford to buy the WH belts that dropped on the US GAH right now.
It´s a shame u didn´t know about that amazing zone (Dacaying Crypt) int the legendary farming competition vs BAUDUSAU and FUN2K ... i´m sure u would be pretty close or even bit them if u had go in those places (i was one of you´re viewers typing in the chat MOLDRAN go in there!!! xD) ... i guess u did not know much about it becaouse of ure vacation and long time away from the game but i´m sure next time u will win ;-)

How can u do mp10 runs like this with a dh?
i was able to do this run on mp10 with 100k dps (even though it wasnt very fast) but with only like 1mil that i made while leveling, just do google some ww barb builds and you should be ok

You make very good videos Moldran but man, i just can´t grasp why you still enjoy D3? I´m not a hater, it´s still a great game even if its far below it´s potential as we all know. But after having done it all, over and over a thousand times, with no end game, no real progression or reward to work towards, no reason to go on in anyway really unless you still enjoy the gameplay enough. But how can you ? hah. Still not hating it´s just so very weird to me. And i loved the gameplay, just got tired.
