Cerca de cuando este disco salió tuve mi primer episodio psicótico. Por como estaba mi vida en el momento y como actuaba sufría muchísimo de ansiedad a tal punto que no podía ni bañarme porque estaba paralizado. Un día en mi casa justo antes de salir a juntarme con mi novia pasó algo que me arruinó los planes y eso desató que yo empezara a convulsionar, me caí al suelo y convulsioné por como 30 segundos. Desde ese entonces mi familia me ayuda mucho con el tema de mi salud mental y Tursntile también lo hace.
Cuando escucho "And when you see me on the floor it's just a part of my show" me hace recordar ese evento no como algo doloroso, si no como algo que pasó y que es parte de lo que soy, pero que realmente no importa, igual con mis temas puedo ser feliz, no estoy solo y nunca lo estaré. Me tengo a mi mismo y por suerte también tengo familia, amigos y a Turnstile!
Fuerza. Te entiendo de cierta forma. Yo estoy pasando por episodios de ansiedad y panico. Si te gustan los videojuegos te recomiendo jugar hylics el 1 y el 2 a mi ese juego me ha ayudado con lo de la ansiedad. Es un juego que tiene la misma vibra que turnstile. ❤

Almost mad at how they can transcend themselves with every new piece of music they put out because the chances of seeing them in small spaces again are getting slimmer and slimmer. So happy to exist at the same time as this band.

43 here, and a few weeks ago I asked my gf to recommend some bands to me. When I heard Turnstile they immediately stood out. Reminds me quite a bit of Snapcase. I absolutely cannot get enough!
My dad's 50 and it does the same to him. He usually starts to throw beer when turnstile comes on.

Franz is one of my fav bass players and Turnstile has seriously helped me learn more and more about the hardcore genre but they themselves have made hardcore their own style and I seriously can’t wait for this new album.

Been following these dudes for 7 years now and seeing glow up has been tremendous. It takes a special kind of hardcore band to experiment and transcend their current style after finding previous success, and make it work so well.

Gotta say as an aged hipster hardcore kid from NYC who grew up obsessed with just about every one of the bands these kids lift from- and that’s a fairly long list- I love Turnstile. I get so many flashes of brilliance when I listen to this new record, homages to the greats that destroyed music in my world from Bad Brains, Fugazi, Shelter, Cro Mags, early Jane’s Addiction just to name a few. They have managed to pull some of the best grooves, riffs and energy from the greats of east Coast hardcore and pull them together with some dream pop overtures on top to make on bad ass record.

I’m 45 and have been down with them since their first 7”. They have a very Bad Brains sound to their fast stuff while also having that NYHC sound. And since they’re from Baltimore, that D.C melodic sound truly puts Turnstile at the top for me as far as “newer” hardcore bands. I can’t wait to see what else they do in this 2nd decade of being a band.

Yes, let's hear it for the old guard. I'm 52 and I hadn't heard of them, I'm afraid, until I stumbled upon Metacritic's best new music, and Glow On has received a score of 93. I must say this album made me feel like I had just heard music for the first time.

They do all of this so well. Genres blend without hiccups or a feeling of "this part doesn't belong". They're really establishing themselves as a band that can do anything and do it wildly well. Thanks for pumping out awesome music TS!
Turnstile never disappoints me. Hardcore/punk fan for over 30 yrs and this is easily my favorite of the “newer” bands that have been around over a decade.
