Seems like in order to make a fast video, you left out key components. Try more hand-holding becuase i doubt most of us are going to be able to assume what youve done between steps.. After i scaled the liquid domain the bake wouldn't work and the blue preview went away.
It’s not perfect but I’ve done it two different ways in the past 1) reverse the rendered frames or 2) make your object have a force field type ‘force’ with a negative strength value, this will attract any liquid/particle/smoke simulations to the object. It’s a bit janky but it works!
Thanks guys. Im sure your explanation is perfect but i'm trying and trying but can´t see anything inside the domain even selecting wireframe in the objects properties and it's not baking anything. Any other tutorials about this technique? anyone?
Heyo! When you say it's not baking anything what do you mean specifically? Is there no option to bake? if so, it may be that you need to set the type of bake to 'modular' and double check that your bake in and out frames line up with your scene frames. does that help?
It could perhaps be the visibility of the object in the top right panel for the scene? You can click the eye to turn off visibility (and then make sure to turn off visibility for rendering as well). I hope that helps!
Hi it could be an issue with the viewport settings (make sure x ray is turned on in top right) or within the liquid sim settings (make sure domain type is set to replay). Do you still have the issue?
Very good tutorial! Yours did solve some problems i had that came from other tutorials (or my meddling). Very well structured and well edited!
Nice tutorial👍
Quick and effective to the point while not being too fast 💪
bro you saved my life I had that idea in mind, gonna try it out the next days
Thank you for the video ! Very good tutorial !

Amazing tutorial!!
Well done!
Yep
wowee!! great tutorial!! thank uuu
Your house looks like a great location for a cozy Christmas movie.
underrated
thank you that was helpful!
I'm having a problem, the fluid mesh is bigger than the geometry that generates the particles help? I hope this explanation makes sense

guys you r totally awesome
THX a lot bro !!!!
I can totally relate to starting a bake before going to bed, stresses me out
don't even get me started on waking up to a blank computer screen with Blender closed...
Thx

Ahhh thank you so much that means a lot :)))
Awesome tutorial
Thank you!!
Best youtube channel out there
Too kind :')
it even change material
trying to figure out the inverse of this. having liquid flow into place to form an object. anybody know where I can find some info on how to do that.

I tried similar thing and it keeps crashing on me before baking is complete 😩
Nice video! I'm gonna try this for a music video.
oh sweet! feel free to send it over when it's done!
i have a problem, when i make the liquid animation and bake it the character is still visible do you have any solutions for this?

O dear.. 1K subscribers incoming.... in 3 2 1 ............... Love the channel guys, hoping on way more videos :p
How to melt it with chair texture, not texture of water?
Give the water a wood pbr ^^
(U need to turn the baked sim into mesh to apply textures)
hi need help my domain doesn't get transparent at all and I see the weird glass structure and objects texture is weird
Did you ever figure this out? i'm having the same problem
@@sevenb4time601 I did but can't remember what was causing that
r u in cycles mode and in the render section?
@@sevenb4time601 try this one ig I figured something while watching it th-cam.com/video/jcPV3AkMRLI/w-d-xo.html
Chair smoke. Don't breathe this.
SUBSCRIBED!!!! 😗😗😗
Im having issues, I cant see the thing happening in real time (not yet baked)... Did I miss something?

dude in the background looks like a young Wren lol
Just found out about your channel
Súper good! But it seems you jump from details that might not make since for begginers like me lol
OMG! Only ONE Backup in the archive folder? You need more for every chair that has not molten correctly!
Couldn’t understand too fast
thank you andrew garfield
It would have been better if you had just sticked the camera to the screen not your house. It’s distracting.
gotcha thanks for the feedback
