Glad I shared it! Not many know this one...people write only about her 5th one because Robert Schumann quoted it. 5th is nice, but I feel bad for this 3rd one 😕
Clara Schumman is such a amazing composer and I am glad that you are trying to bring her music back to life as not many people recognize her music! Thank you! 😁
Wow After the first 15 seconds I already had the feeling that you cared a lot about this piece. It felt so light and easy to listen to but the darker tone of the piece wasn't neglected at all. Soft and gentle is what I would describe it, the sensation of a fresh leaf. I've never listened to this piece before but it immediately clicked with me... I feel sort of restless now after listening... I don't want to overstep borders but I think this was the most emotion I've ever heard in one single musical performance, thank you so much Tiffany. Made me realize what true professionalism is and how my own skills compare to that.
Yess ever since I watched your ‘sight reading Clara Schumann’s piano sonata’ I’ve fallen in love with her music! Currently learning her piano sonata too! Mazurkas are such a cool musical form. EDIT: OMG A SCHUMANN ALBUM!!! I CANNOT WAIT
Thank you for sharing music again, Tiffany. Honestly I sorely missed your playing entire pieces in the last months, although I understand the reasons why. And you have a sure fire purchase of your Schumann album from my part here, as soon as it becomes available!
Hello, Miss Poon. I am just a retired Piano teacher. From my experience, I think you have a transcendental Piano technique. It means you have no pianistic limits. I love all your interpretations, there is no favorite, because they stand at the highest level. Congratulations for all your work. I have been waiting for Beethoven Sonatas, such as op. 57 or op. 111. Besides the technical side, I must say that you have all the artistic maturity to play them. Take care of yourself. Don't forget that ypu are a Concert Pianist, and this is not a common job. Only a few people with yout profile, such highly gifted and such a profound person, will be able to that super human task. Best wishes for all your life. José Augusto Reis
Your playing is so devine words cannot not describe how beautiful your touch is. Your playing so beautiful and your such a inspiration to me Tiffany. ❤️❤️
your touch is somehow so powerful and elegant yet still so delicate. As a pianist who have only been playing for well over a year, the way you play is what I strive for every practice. The dedication and hours that have gone into this is, respect!
It's not my goal to play the piano on a really high level but playing with this kind of passion as you do! Being able to feel and express this music in the way you do is extremely valuable. Wonderfully played!
@@davidw6936 It certainly is, but you know there are a lot of pianists that play on a high level concerning managing extremely hard technical difficulties and playing with virtuosity and forget about the emotion in their playing. So I think that it is especially hard to achieve the playing as Tiffany does. With a lot of practice you can basically manage anything but playing with the depth of musicality does not automatically come with it.
AMAZING! your playing is just so beautiful! ❤️ I think I’m going to learn this piece now, I just love it. (Also Clara Schumann is definitely underrated!)
Yay! It’s a wonderful mazurka, Clara has recently gotten herself a new admirer ^-^ Thank you Tiffany for this wonderful interpretation of this piece, you are such an inspiration to all
That was a beautiful performance Tiffany, thank you for brightening my day. ❤️ I love your interpretations of both Robert and Clara’s work, and it always makes me smile whenever you play that first dance from the Davidsbündlertänze, like in your warm-ups, etc. My hope is that someday you will record all of that work. I would definitely buy that CD! 🙂
From what I have seen of the young Clara's music she was much influenced by Chopin, and Robert of course. For some reason I found it difficult to 'get into' this mazurka of hers; your performance will prompt me to try it again - thank you. It is not just Clara's mazurka, but I have difficulty with many others that are not Chopin (such as Fauré or Scriabin). Tiffany, you could get a couple of friends together to have a go at Clara Schuman's trio, one of her best compositions.
I have never heard this piece before but I am really moved by it...makes me want to learn more about Clara.. Schumann..thank you for this Tiffany!!..you seem to be enjoying playing her...and it shows in the result .very nice
You continue to open new worlds to me that I never even knew existed. I so much appreciate you and Steinway. This performance is stunning! Goosebumps all the way!! Watching you play is as much of a pure joy as listening! 💖
Nice revelation. I didn't think Clara would write a piece like this. I wouldn't be surprise if some of Schumann's music is Clara's or she had a hand in Robert's music.
I watch several pianists, past and present, and for whatever reason, your interpretations of pieces always seem to resonate more with me than other performances. Just curious about your interpretive approach. Is it study of the history of the piece, the composer? Do you listen to other artists for your own inspiratuon? How do you arrive at your particular interpretations?
young women are so underrated, like Clara, many others could contribute on cultural and intellectual levels, if only they were not treated so much as children or idols or child stars for the masses, or political youth icons for a moralist faction. they should not get stuck in a "world machinery" like another little wheel. but that's only my tiny 2 cents...
Thanks a lot for this discover. You touched me in heart until tears!!! ❤❤❤And I obviously want to read this beauty!!! Well, it is done with Imslp , merci merci merci😉❤❤❤
I miss your recordings! And thank you for introducing me to a new composer! I’ve never really heard about Clara Schumann. Now I feel so guilty for not exploring other composers. I’ve also noticed the little incremental improvements in your editing 4:01(I noticed that tiny sub icon lol) Keep Striving Tiffany!

Beautiful Mazurka - and one I hadn't heard before! Her Piano Concerto is lovely too.
Glad I shared it! Not many know this one...people write only about her 5th one because Robert Schumann quoted it. 5th is nice, but I feel bad for this 3rd one 😕
your passion for schumann's music (both clara's and robert's) can be felt through the screen 😻 this recording gave me goosebumps 😳
Awww 🥺🙏🥺❤️🙏
Clara Schumman is such a amazing composer and I am glad that you are trying to bring her music back to life as not many people recognize her music! Thank you! 😁
"There's nothing greater than the joy of composing something oneself and then listening to it" Clara Schumann.
This sounds like mazurka op 67 no 2 . But this was composed on 1836 and Chopin's Mazurka on 1849
Wow
