Great video on the 1 series. I have a 1M with the Dinan intake, oil cooler, exhaust, and tune. Good for over 400hp and torque. Amazing handling with the stock suspension, and the perfect power to weight ratio for me. Keeps me smiling ear to ear. Looks even better in person since it has such a wide wheelbase compared to its length.
I picked up a basket case 2011 128i three years ago as a retirement project. Base model - the only option was leather heated seats - but it's a slicktop and 6MT. I've spent way more than I could get for it if I were to sell it but I've learned a lot and had a lot of fun resurrecting it and it is a fantastically fun car to drive. It is a shame so few of these came with the 6MT, but, of course, that makes mine more rare.
I saw the E9x video and was going to ask you for the E8x video. Instead, I Subscribed and searched your videos. Of course had to watch it!! I love my E82 135i N55. I think the E36 Compacts are the most underrated BMW at least here in the States.
It's really not rare to find a good 1M It's just that there's not many 1M's as they were limiter edition. Almost every 1M you find for sale is likely in incredible condition. Leave them alone, don't modify them. You want to do that, buy a 135i
Solid rear subframe bushings and a lsd makes the car feel amazing for the money
My 128i has been an amazing car so far! Not as fast as the 1M, but still a blast to drive!

You’re one of the lucky few who gets to say they own a 1M, that’s sick 🇩🇪🤝🏻

Love my 128i Manual with M sport package, despite zero maintenance hassles, no repairs, but less than fighter jet 2:18 horsepower, like the 135i. :-)
I remember my dads 128i convertible. Was very nice in corners and planted to the ground. Made me get a e93 335i convertible and I’m in love.

the E8X 135i is an amazing vehicle car! loads of torque, handles great and shares so many parts with the E9X
Did you get the 130i in North America?
Love my 135i, despite endless maintenance and money haha😅
I wanted a 135 but when for a 128 hoping to avoid some of the maintenance.
I think the 1-series is following up the E36 / E46 Compact as the baby bimmer

the sedan is atrocious looking and all the older ones look kinda ugly
