Salmon - A Fly fishing season in Scandinavia

This short film brings you along on some salmon trips during 2017, showing some of the reasons to why fly fishing for salmon is what it is. It is not all about the fish but also about the sceneries, the company with friends and that lovely time spent by the river with a fly rod. Its just you and all of these elements. Filmed in Sweden and Norway. Music by Wildlife and Ayla Nereo (jumpsuit records) Runtime 12 minutes.

WOW. Such great Spey casters. Released the fish unharmed too. Laughing at a near miss. Real fishermen. I could fish with these gentlemen. Thanks for this. I’m not American, from Canada. I have the exact same set up for Steelheading, 8 wt LOOP Cross, 811 LOOP Classic on a long line.

Does this fishing require renting water rights to fish? I'm not Canadian!

In Orkla you have both private waters and "public" where you can buy daily licenses. I arrange 6-8 weeks of hosted trips to this river every summer and if you are interested to join some time just send me an email and I will give you some more information. This year/summer, all the weeks are fully booked but there is always a summer after this one :)
