- We are uncovering new evidence of occupiers’ atrocities against civilians.
Ruscists admit that they shoot Ukrainian women point blank. They do this with special cynicism, firing a few bullets even in lifeless bodies of their victims.
The SSU intercepts such conversations of invaders and documents their crimes so that no culprits go unpunished.
This ‘hero’, mobilized by Russians in the so-called LNR, tells his wife about a brutal murder of a Ukrainian woman by his colleagues: ‘…some woman was lying there… head shot, lying and twitching. A hole in the head… They called him again, he shot again, she was still twitching, he shot again… ‘That’s it’ he says. ‘She’s f**king done.’
As it turned out, the woman’s only ‘fault’ was that ‘…she had, like, a brother in Azov... and she started talking some sh*t.’
The soldier seems to resent his colleagues’ behaviour, but did nothing to prevent this war crime. He only advised to bury the victim.

I agree that this is horrible, but there are others even worse. You need to listen to the one when the Russian soldier describes various tortures he’s done, including shoving a pipe up a person’s ass, and then ramming barbed wire up it.

@@thelazy0ne No, they’ve published calls with gruesome details. One features a son talking about how great he felt torturing prisoners and went through many graphic details. Then the mother says she wishes she could be there too and get to torture because she knows it would get her so high. Then the son begins suggesting they torture his father/her husband when he gets back (and he’s serious) and the mother laughs, but I don’t think she was in for the husband torture (what a saint 🙄).

Truly I am not surprised about what's happened in Russian Occupied Ukraine. Look back at what Soviet soldiers did in the Downfall of Nazi Germany. Their historians try to justify what happened to the German Women and other Civilians because of what the Nazi troops did in the areas of the Soviet Union occupied by them. There is no excuse for commission of War Crimes. "We were just following orders" and "They did it to us," are not valid defenses. The perpetrators must be prosecuted regardless of their allegiances.

During WW2 American soldiers guilty of war crimes suffered harsh punishment up to hanging. Most got lengthy prison terms. During the North African campaign of 1942-1943, about 2 dozen solders were found guilty of shooting unarmed civilian farmers. They were arrested, court-martialed, convicted. Then they were stripped of all rank, privileges, and pay. Shipped back to the Leavenworth Military Prison in the US where they served sentences of over 25 years. They were finally released and given a dishonorable discharge in the late 1960s. No VA benefits. That's the difference between the US and Russia.

Ukraine needs to join NATO. No matter Russian threats, after the war is over and Ukraine reclaims all her pre-2014 territory, there MUST be NATO soldiers, including Americans stationed on Ukrainian soil.

In many of these intercepted calls, the soldiers on the phone seem to either enjoy what they have done or show no remorse for it so my comment was meant to give credit to what appears to be a decent hearted Russian soldier and give credit where it is due in that regard. Nothing more, nothing less.
