Thank you so much for mentioning the Leave No Trace Principles! So important and allows everyone to continue to enjoy these beautiful destinations without restrictions.
Absolutely, always! Yes :) I believe the more people fall in love with Mother Nature with proper care for sustainability we can build more allies for loving and caring for our beautiful Earth!
How do you only have 3k subscribers? This is amazing content! I'm thinking of retiring in Portugal and your videos have been some of the most informative and well filmed that I've seen.
Wow thank you so much! I've just started taking TH-cam more seriously a few months ago so I'm hoping the search engine picks me up soon ;) appreciate your kindness! Thank you! That sounds amazing, Portugal is incredible.
I am sold!!! I saw some clips of this island on TikTok and decided to watch some videos and yours is quite helpful! You look stunning in those photos. Now I cannot wait to experience all of this in the summer.
Amazing and informative content, Mahna. I will visit Madeira this October. Thank you so much. I took notes like I was back in school or college. Congrats for the high quality content! Keep it up, girl! :)
This has amazing content and I love how you always say leave it better than you found it. Because unfortunately there's those who don't. Your videos are so informative thank you 😁
Thank you, I always do my best to inform on Leave No Trace so that I am sharing and promoting people visit these beautiful nature destinations but also care for our beautiful planet. Cheers!
Awesome video! Super helpful and beautiful content! I recently started my channel revolving around travel and landscape photography/videography. It’s pretty wild to me that I’ve built the courage to start my TH-cam channel being someone who’s never been fond of being in front of a camera. None the less, thank you for this video and the inspiration! I can’t wait for Madeira this year 😁
I’m Americans and lived in Madeira 30 years ago….and never saw another American tourist. Unfortunately, not that way anymore. There are now direct flights from New York. Portugal and Madeira were largely left alone in Europe but definitely have been discovered. Nice video. Thanks for encouraging no trace as some of the best spots are now littered with toilet paper.
Just wanted you to know that my wife and I have been planning a trip to Portugal and Spain next summer but after watching you 10 day Portugal trip we are saving Spain and stealing your itinerary! hope that ok 😁
I am thinking of going to Madeira in October, this video has been very helpful! I also love your positive energy and the message about leaving the island clean and untouched 🌍♥ Nice to see environmentally conscious people out there :)
What an incredible destination! I don't think I have even heard much about Madeira until this year either. I really like how you can watch the sunrise above the clouds and spend time at the beach in the same day. I'll have to check out Madeira one of these days. Amazing job with the video Mahna!
Madeira is truly amazing! Yess it’s incredible, such a wide range of things to do and experience on the island! Thanks so much for your kind words, really appreciate it!
I enjoyed your video very nicely done 👍 I will travel there soon , I was wondering if I need any a/c adapter for charging batteries since I am going from U.S ?

Hi! I absolutely loved this video! Very helpful, since I am planning on going to Madeira in the next year. & also I love your pink skirt worn in this video! Do you remember where you got it? 🤩
Its my dream to visit Madeira one day, hopefully I will break the Corporate Loop I am in and make enough money so I can travel and enjoy sometime there.
Howzit Mahna, I just got a job here in Saudi Arabia on the Red Sea and I brought 2 surfboards. Madeira is on my list to take a vacation and surf. What islands would you recommend to take a surf vacation which would compare to Kauai and not Oahu. Mahalo, Pat
Howzit! That's amazing, I hope you have an amazing time! I actually just started surfing this year so I am not sure yet regarding surfing destinations, but that is definitely something I hope to learn and grow in sharing!
This was great content !…I just want to ask I do not drive and I will be going on my own so what’s my best options for going to Madeira are there ways to get around for people like myself not everyone can drive?😢
great video! are there ubers or other ways of getting around besides renting a car?? def can't drive manual and not super comfortable driving on these narrow roads
Such a beautiful place! In like your videos. Well, I am a cardiac patient! So do you think I can visit Maderia with only a car, Cause I will not be able to walk much especially in the hilly area?
Madeira is truly amazing! Yes you definitely can. The Bravelanders tour we did was mostly accessible with car spots! There are many tours that are for people who want scenic views of the island with no hiking. Definitely lots to enjoy and a beautiful destination to go to! I strongly recommend it. The roads are amazing
Madeira the places you recommended you could go only by car or any places public transportation available ? Then which ones you have public transport ? Of course Ican rent and drive just checking if alternate transport available for these attractions specifically ? Cheers 👍
Hi Mahna, thank you so much for this super quality guide!! Are the places you mentioned in this video accessible via public transport? Neither me nor my travel companion can drive, which seems like a shame because many of the travel vlog I've seen also recommend renting a car to explore the island :(
Alot of the places she mentioned are not accessible via public transport. However you have several tourist companies that do east tour, west tour (both are full day tours) and the nuns valleys (half day tour) then you have taxis that you can pay them directly for a more personal tour of the island.
@@TugaQueen Thank you! I've looked into the tours there, might be taking up on one. But for the remaining time I think I'll use a combination of taxi and bus to get around (tho taxis arent that cheap haha). I want all the flexibility I can get, if you know what i mean :) Again, thank you loads!!
Hi there! I am so glad it is helpful! I would recommend the company Bravelanders that I recommend in this video, they drive you to and show you a lot of amazing places on the island! Happy travels :)

Many people from Madeira went to Hawaii to work in sugar cane plantations in the past. The origin of ukele is from maderein people.
