One of the things I respect about Michael Jackson is that even tho he was in the top of his game winning so much awards, he stayed humble and respected other artists who were nominated and respected them in his own matter
At the Ama 1984 Michael Jackson was nominated 10 times, and won 8 awards most won at the night. King sh*t👑 Please react next to MJ at the Grammys in 1984 it was 1 month after the ama he was the most nominated (12) and the person who won the most (8). To this day it’s still the most ever received by a single artist in one night (8) only Santana (Group) tied in 2002. Not only that the Grammy 1984 is to this day the most watched Grammy of all time (51M viewers). Mj influence was REAL. He won 16 awards in 2 month at the biggest and most prestigious music awards shows. At that time you needed talent to win these kind of awards. The greatest of all time👑
Yes he won 8 awards in one night and broke all the records of music history that night. And became a famous solo singer after leaving Jackson five . And he still holds this record in 2023
I don't know if anyone has answered this question yet, but the little boy he brought onstage was Immanuel Lewis, who was a child actor. He's actually 13 there. For some reason his growth was slowed and he looks way younger than he is. He had his own sitcom called Webster where he played a much younger kid. He was also on The Love Boat and many other things. Child stars are in a way, one of Michaels tribes. One of the categories of people he spent time with. Whether it was older ones like Shirley Temple Or younger ones like Immanuel Lewis. He spent an awful lot of time as an adult researching the lives of other child stars and the commonalities between their lives and the way they grew up and common issues they tend to have. With the younger child stars, I think he felt like he wanted to be sure they were having alot of the fun he missed instead of working all the time and help them avoid some if the pitfalls. At the time it was incredibly rare for a child star to grow up to be even more successful than their younger self. Michael managed to do that, and I think he wanted to use his success to help other child stars. Anyhow, Immanuel Lewis is still around and comes out to defend Michaels character when needed. He actually just recently posted a sweet old unseen photo to Social Media of Michael meeting his grandmother.

Somethings in life are better left alone. Such a shame we wouldn't have known what the different circumstances could have been for Michael if that never happened. I honestly don't think that incident would have stopped MJ from having more surgeries as he was too far gone with the whole childhood upbringing, however it may have Led him on a more clearer path as he wouldn't have been dependant on pain medication and such.
