Wow I really miss the ‘80’s, especially this part of the 80’s, where Michael Jackson was larger than life, everything Diana Ross wore and did was an event, and where the most beloved artists were the seasoned ones like Kenny Rogers, Lionel Ritchie, Diana Ross, and Michael Jackson. Also seeing Papa Joe Jackson tear up here made me tear up a little too. I don’ recall him ever showing his emotion like that in public again. If ever there was a time capsule, this is it!

Because he was a gentleman, I don't think he wanted to to do anything to upset/anger her. He loved and adored her,and if she wanted to keep it a secret, he was going to play along. I see that he was very sad that beautiful day. This is because he did not come there with Diana. Broken heart. And although Brooke is so beautiful, he is sad in the general photos. He is sad, depressed, does not take off his sunglasses. Sometimes I see him swallowing tears and about to cry. In the first frames of this video, a couple of years earlier, he runs Diana with all his legs into her arms. In all the shots, when he is with her, he laughs, he is relaxed, he is infinitely happy.
