- This video is an install and instruction video for the Top Line Auto Shop LED & Power Folding Mirrors for the 10th Gen Accord.
These mirrors can be installed on ANY 10th Gen Accord using the instructions in the video. If you need additional help feel free to message me on Instagram: jdmdreamin

Features include:
• Power Folding Inward with Double Tap of Lock Button
• Power Folding Outward with Double Tap of Unlock Button
• LED Mirror Signal Indicator
• Auto Inward Fold with walk away auto lock function.
• Normal Mirror operation and Manual Fold option within the interior of the car w/ supplied switch.
• LED mirror lights will flash when signaled, when car is locked, unlocked or hazards are activated.

IMPORTANT: It is highly recommended that you have a circuit tester available to locate the correct wires for the LED signal on the mirrors. Although I do show you the wires in the video, the wiring harness is quite large and you could end up tapping the wrong wire. In addition to the circuit tester you should also have a package of T-Tap’s (18G) and Connector (18G) for the passenger side door connections.
You should also keep the battery disconnected at all times, except to quickly test for the signal with the circuit tester. Having the doors open will drain your battery and can leave you stranded. If you can, leave the battery on a tender so you have worry free installation.
If you have an accord that ALREADY has LED mirrors, you DO NOT need to tap the wiring harness. You already have the correct harness from Honda. You will need to run the purple and brown wires (wrapped in black) from the drivers side door to the passenger side for power.

It looks confusing but the only part that requires non plug and play is routing the wires across the cabin for power to the passenger mirror & tapping the harness for signal. It’s easy if you have a circuit tester and visual reference like this video. You can always hit me up on IG and I can help.

I like those wheels better than the black ones. I think those sit better. they look like they fit properly. the black ones seemed off on the offset. The color is beautiful.

A definitely mod I’m adding to the list for my accord. I know the EX-L and Touring come with courtesy lights on the mirror but the folding mechanism is a nice luxurious touch. I’m curious on the longevity of this particular product by this manufacturer, how has your experience been with it? Reliable? Still working?

Hey I just tinted the tail lights on my accord and it just looks so much nicer. Have you ever been pulled over for them? Wondering if I should risk it or take it off.

The only thing you’d need to do is run the black bundle of wire (brown & purple wires) across the cabin to provide power to the passenger mirror. Everything else is plug and play, no need to tap the car wiring harness for any reason. 👍🏽 30 minute install for you.

Question: to lock and unlock the powerfold you definitely have to press lock and unlock twice? it does not occur immediately if it is locked?

How's your car drive being lowered. I wanna lower my 2019 accord, but I also use it as my daily driver. Was thinking of get eibach lowering springs and I have 20in rims 245/35. What do you think is best way to go?
Can you lower those springs anymore? Just curious, I want to buy the same coilovers but want an extra .5 / .25 inch more then that

i just got the 2018 accord tho sadly i dont have folding mirrors or turn signals. would I be able to have either option with the right after market mirrors? the the mirrors I want have the sequential led so not sure if it would at all be the same?
Do these come standard with the turn signal? Or u have go choose the 2.0T touring version to get the turn signal? I have a 2.0 Sport i want the Turn signals and folding. I dont wanna order the 2.0 sprt option and it dont come with the signal

To anyone attempting to do this I would recommend you get the 3M brand T-Tap you can buy them from Digikey, those cheap Chinese ones from AutoZone can sometimes cut right through your factory wiring. The 3M ones have much better tolerances

I'm a licensed electrician and I just hate seeing cheap Chinese electrical parts being used it's always good to go with 100% copper and quality-made products when dealing with electricity.

Off topic but do you have an IG? Wanted to know if you'd be trying upgrading the screen? There's 3 different kinds on AliExpress that I'm curious to find if someone has ordered and tried them out yet to see if they're worth the risk. I know one (without volume knobs) was missing few features like TPMS

No rattling. I used gorilla tape to anchor the extra components down. 👌🏽

No, it’s a true plug and play. 👍🏽

Currently there is not. The whole setup is pricey and the company makes there own harness. I do hear that another vendor is coming out with something similar so maybe the market will bring a lower price. I’ll keep trying to get us a discount for them in the future.
What about mirror heating ?
Hey just asking for an update on the coilovers are they holding up well? And did they soften up?
I removed them the day after. Didn’t even want to test them any further. I have my 1 yr old in the car all the time and the ride if not where I wanted it to be. If I did coilovers again I’d want to make sure they had dampening adjustability.

Yes. The black bundle of wire (brown & purple wires) is needed to provide power to the passenger mirror. Routing the wires takes about 10 minutes. If you run it through the grommet/door loom it can take 30-45 minutes because of the lack of space. It’s all very doable.

Lol if I was down the street I’d say yes. But really it’s not that hard once you take the door panel off. The wiring is intimidating but the video shows you the exact wires to tap.

Yeah. I'm a bit turned off with how its not as bright as I imagined. We just need him to confirm this.
The light didn’t really show up well on camera I will admit. You can see them for sure. Next mod I’m doing is putting ultra bright sequential turn signals in. It’s a quick swap and only like $25 bucks. Should be night and day brighter on camera.

I've been looking high and low for this, even in the Indonesia market. Anyways, I have the 2.0 Touring and my passenger mirror folds to the curb while in reverse. Does this product do the same? I do not want to lose that function.
To operate that function if you don't know: Have the mirror switch clicked to the passenger side and put the car into reverse. The mirror should move by itself downward and out a little to see the curb. Please let me know. Thanks.

The reverse tilt did not work on my car. I don’t believe I have the equipment needed for it.

what if you buy the kit will it add the blind spot & heated mirror function to the 1.5T sport?
Blind spot I believe runs through the ECU because you can turn it off with a button but the mirror has the sensor installed. It might be as simple as installing the mirror and buying the button and harness from Honda. I’ll research.
Heated mirrors is the same thing. Mirror comes with option but you need a way to activate it.
I doubt it. The sensors for BSM is usually in the rear pannels of the car. I highly doubt honda put the sensors in the 1.5s flanks if it wasn't meant to have it. Unless the sensors are the same for the rear cross traffic alert which I do believe the 1.5 does have. Not 100% sure tho.
@@giojo01 honda used a lot of the same parts fot lower trims as the higher trims, I wouldnt be surprised if we could enable BSM

How fast can these fold?
Not as fast as jimmy johns but they open and close in 2 second flat. The folding you see in the video is real time, no camera tricks from daddy.
