Just made this and its so cute i love it!! 🥰🥰 Btw, for anyone who needs help with the abbreviations: sc- single crochet inc- increase dec- decrease slip st- slip stitch c- chain dc- double crochet
For anyone having difficulty making / closing the magic ring. I got one specially for fuzzy yarn: slipknot, chain 1, and then do the amount of single crochets needed into the slipknot. Hope that helps :) (it did for me)
This looks so fun + beginner friendly! I cant wait to go to Michael’s with my dad Edit: she’s so adorable and deformed but I still love her Edit: making another one for my friends bday party :) Crocheting is so op I swear I just handmade a gift in an hour 💪
Next time please show you putting on the eyes before you stuff it because I was half way through the tentacles when I realized I forgot to put on the eyes but this is a good pattern
@@amberterry6828So after round 10, the person pointed out the stitches that formed in a circle from the decreases. You use those circular stitches to make the tentacles and you go around each circular stitch
When they did the back loops only and it left a ridge. You slipped the needle in those stitches and you work the pattern there. She’s using the needle to up with the stitches because they’re probably tight to insert the hook.
If you guys have trouble with some of it i suggets you look up a tutorial on for example how to do an inc or a dec i did that and it helped me a lot with this
This guy is really cute. I want to make him and add to my collection however, I need to know what brand of yarn, and hook size please. I did have to turn the volumn down, don't like the music. Hope i didnt miss any comments you made. Thank you for the great project. He is adorable and can't wait to make him
Videos like this normally have the materials used listed in the description. Here: Plush yarn (pink) Hook 4.5 mm And from the reply to another comment, the brand is "alizze velluto". Hope this helped😊
For those who say this is hard. not beginner friendly I would say that this is NOT a learn to crochet tutorial. It assumes that you have the basics and are past the chain and crochet dishcloth stage.
would be nice if you could say what size eyes and what kind of yarn/size of yarn you used. onto the next vid seeing how you aren't replying to anybody.
any tips i just started crocheting yesterday and should i use the same fuzz yarn ur using or no???? also im using it rn and its kinda hard to see what im doing
Omg I have to say it’s my second day crocheting and I was able to follow this tutorial and got a little octopus 🐙 ❤ I just don’t have the eyes yet. I didn’t realize I need to count as I go so I messed up the head but the rest came out so cute! Wish I could post a pic 😂
Yes it should work. The only thing would be that your final piece would turn out bigger. Make sure you use the proper yarn size tho. It’s typically written on the yarn label.
I have been crocheting for a year, I understood it but still, u we’re very confusing is some parts, I just read the headings, watching what u we’re doing was wayyyyy to confusing
I dont see how this is beginner friendly. what does c or dc mean? what is slip st? plus ive had to slow down the speed to .25x the original speed... come on now
Bro just look up the abbreviations it’s not that hard, there are many videos that will pop up on how to do those simple stitches when you look up the short hand as well.
It’s not her fault you have to slow down the video. It’s pretty beginner friendly, according to most of the other comments. Take your time, slow it down, and do the darn project. It’s not her fault you aren’t that experienced.
As a viewer your supposed to watch what she does to tho. But like nah actually tho I agree I’m a beginner too I get what you mean but she’s also expecting us viewers to already understand the pattern she put at the top in writing. Had to learn how to read it and know what it meant in order to follow along so I watched like 3 different videos about reading patterns and how to do those patterns before I understood what she was doing tbh. Took me two days in total but only an an hour and a half with the stuffy
Just made this and its so cute i love it!! 🥰🥰
Btw, for anyone who needs help with the abbreviations:

Next time please show you putting on the eyes before you stuff it because I was half way through the tentacles when I realized I forgot to put on the eyes but this is a good pattern
A+ This video shows every step very clearly and is well filmed. This little octopus is fun and so easy to do. P.S. Love the sweet calming music..

0:45 did you pull it through? I tried slowing it down but I can't see, it looks like you did but you went back after all, I'm too beginner for this😭
Thankyou 💕
Thank you so much, it turned out awesome.
I’m confused on the part when you put on the eyes. Did u do something to keep them in or did you just stick them in to where they are loose?
For those who say this is hard. not beginner friendly I would say that this is NOT a learn to crochet tutorial. It assumes that you have the basics and are past the chain and crochet dishcloth stage.
Hi, I would like to ask what size are ur safety eyes
To the people struggling with the tentacles. Chain 2 or 4 and then go into the next stich
I love this so much!! This video was so helpful!
would be nice if you could say what size eyes and what kind of yarn/size of yarn you used. onto the next vid seeing how you aren't replying to anybody.
Thank you for using a blue needle to show where to put in the stitch as it’s hard to see
Gracias muy bonito 👍
Are we allowed to sell what we make with your pattern?
I crocheted my charging cord into the octopus!! 😳😳

any tips i just started crocheting yesterday and should i use the same fuzz yarn ur using or no????

you could use acrylic yarn!
You waited to put the eyes on after the project was completed. Did you glue them on?
Yeah I saw her doing that but I was smart so when she was stuffing it I put my eyes in 😅😂
AHHHH ITS SO CUTE

The fact I know 0% of crochet and I can’t even do a SINGLE step just makes me cry
Does anyone know if this works for 8mm yarn? I just started and I’m in love with crocheting and I got some 8mm ya r for christmas
Yes it should work. The only thing would be that your final piece would turn out bigger. Make sure you use the proper yarn size tho. It’s typically written on the yarn label.

In a tutorial you're supposed to speak and tell people how to do it you're making no sense to beginners like me
