Hello Mr Nomad Sweden, enjoy this excellent PR7 machine, I rode 36000 km on mine before parting with it. Very good first modifications. A few words of advice: to keep your suspension in tip-top condition, it's a good idea to change the fork and shock absorber at least once a year. As for the lighting, the original headlight and code are really bad, making it impossible to ride safely at night. I opted for the LSK solution, with its powerful lighting and lower power consumption, and no more worries about riding at night. Be careful with the regulator connector: it's very exposed, so it's important to protect it from water and mud. It's also important to check that the lugs are fully seated, as there's a risk of burning the connector and damaging the regulator or even the alternator. On my PR7, one of the lugs wasn't properly seated, and an electric arc started. This is a known problem. Enjoy

This year the amount of good videos on the PR7 has exploded. Lots of great info out there now. I got mine in May 24 and have used it for work commute, training, enduro touring, road riding with my street buddies and a couple of decent long trips. It does everything pretty well and so far has been a great bike. I have ridden all of its competitors extensively and for me it really hits the mark. All of my buddies I have let ride it come away saying "WOW!!" Maintenance is very easy on it compared to the competition and its well thought out in this category. The Avatar example really explains me and my PR7's relationship. Great video Robert!!
Robert, so glad you have secured a comfortable couch to engage in talking therapy about your mid-size crisis. The process may have seemed long and full of difficult decisions, but you are through it now and have a beautiful new and slimmer partner. Thanks for sharing the treatment. I'm sure it helps. What I like is that the bike is sturdy and free of delicate electronics, so you can spend valuable hours maintaining and upgrading it. The same goes for the T7, and that's what I enjoy
Great choice with this AJP, I am considering also to get one. I wasn't sure if that bike is for me but now I think there's nothing to worry about. Four years ago I almost bought KTM 690 and ended with T7. Now, after one year of searching I'm sure that PR7 is proper bike. Only the manufacturer should change tablet and light or should offer different variants to choose. KTM 690 will be great bike if they fix all issues and start listening users. 690/701/700 are for few years now and need some refresh. So enjoy PR7 Robert, I wish You lots of fun, stunning adventures and safety landings.
I have owned 7 KTMs...no more for me. I have decided that I will stop giving my hard earned money to a company that just refuses to listen to customers, fix known issues and not support its own products. Yes I am taking some risk with a small manufacturer, but I am not taking any more risk than I gave to KTM and they stole from me. So far my AJP PR7 has been great, incredibly fun to ride in any situation and does exactly what I wanted from a bike in this class. I have 3 mid size and one large ADV bikes and this one is just a whole other world and opens up so many riding options not available on a mid or large ADV bike. Of course, if you live nowhere near an AJP dealer expect to have to mail order parts etc but this bike does share some parts with older bikes. I have ordered a few wear and tear and commonly damaged parts to just have them on hand in case but where I live in Europe you can have parts inside of a work week...no different than the KTM dealer that never kept even common parts in stock or even tubes for tires. I expect for any of my bikes to have to wait 5 days to 3 weeks on parts so don't let the AJP naysayers convince you not to buy one for this non-issue.
Wow nice! Just received ours with my girlfriend and got stolen couple of weeks later. Terrible. Wishing you all the best with this great bike and in good company! Hopefully I can save enough to buy one again🤷♂️
That weight measurement method although not entirely accurate like you said is actually a really good guide for people on buying bikes that are going to have to pick them up at some point , it mainly applies to adventure bike riders who are unsure on getting those big silly engine sizes and taking them off road . ( I have crf1000 and I'll admit she is a heavy cow when I fall off bit ive got used to dead lifting my body weight now 😂😂)
My midsize crisis lead into 125 kg wet Honda XR400R. Does anything from motocross to trails, and even 1h hour on highway if you have atleast some tolerance. 😊
I have a T7 since 2022, it was my first real motorcycle and it was my first contact with offroad riding, it was scary as well and it went OK but my skills plateaued. I was scared of the more technical sections, any time she wanted to go down she would definitely go down, and so she did, countless times! I've broken the crashbars, I've broken the original plastic kit, I've put a big dent on the swingarm because of the center stand, I totally destroyed the original handlebar... and last year I decided to buy a second hand AJP PR7 and currently own both and I can tell you that my skills started to improve once again, even when I get back on the T7, my confidence levels are much higher! The PR7 is so much giving and forgiving, its weight is on point! The problem? its reliability... I've had it in the shop 3 times already and she's currently dead on what I suspect is a dead fuel pump... but it surely is a fun bike!
I’m happy for you Robert on the new bike. It looks like a winner. And the mods are and look awesome! I’m in the same boat with size: I just picked up my first T7 last Wednesday. I’m still in the amazed stages but I totally agree a smaller bike is still good to keep around.
I too was afflicted by the same condition - riding a 1090R solo in Swedish forests had me thinking twice about exploring some of the more challenging trails with a big bike. In my case, I went with a 690 as the perfect paring with the 1090 but the outcome is the same… two horses for different courses and more trails to explore with confidence. Enjoy the AJP och har det så bra!👍😁
It’s kinda fascinating and frustrating to see all these videos of people discovering what was true back in 2010. The old red head Husky TE610/630 were WAAAAY better bikes than the 690 for a great many reasons from countershaft to fueling to reliability but nobody gave them its praise. Thankfully AJP basically took a fantastic bike and put it together in a new way and style that’s a great option for a new generation of riders to/are discovering.
Spot on. Great comment. You are so right. I have an umolested, 1 previous owner 4,000km 2008 Husky (when the brand was owned by MV Agusta, before the BMW buy-out) SM610ie. It's a great backroads bike, light (with full titanium and carbon Leo Vince exhaust system), pokey yet flexible engine, great Marzocchi and Sachs suspension, great handling, slick 6-speed gearbox, beautiful build quality and looks gorgeous. I love it and it's great fun. And unlike most competitors, reliable and simple to maintain yourself. And yet, when I read reviews of the AJP PR7 (which as you point out uses the last version of the Husky engine), the main criticism from 'journalists' and YT 'creators', is that it's an "old" engine. This is lazy journalism that just repeats cliches, because in fact that's one of the main advantages of these bike, no electronics but all the good stuff. Robert is far more analytical and perceptive.
@@glennboy66 SWM and AJP are the same motor, both updated from the TE630 motor along with other components. SWM purchased all the remaining Italian “Red Head” Husky building, manufacturing and infrastructure from the BMW/KTM deal. AJP gets the motors from the same supplier, manufactured from the same place/building as SWM. The motors are very reliable, are built from the TE610 with an updated head to make the TE630 but further refined all these years to produce this most current version which is still a FANTASTIC motor, a bit heavy by todays standard however a long lasting motor if properly maintained. SWM & AJP both “label” the bikes “650”. Back in the day the motors made about 63-65hp whereas the 690’s of its time made about 67-69. These days the current 690’s took until almost 2019 before KTM put a counterbalancer in them to smooth them out. I put well over 15,000 miles on a 2011 630 and I have very close friends with well over 30,000miles on even older 610’s, the oldest being carberated. There are 610/630 out there with many thousands of more miles. I’m personally glad AJP is getting recognition for putting together a great bike and glad it’s this motor! 👍
At 73, I have no interest in the new KTM 790/890/1290 bikes with all the complex electronics. Living in remote Colorado, USA we have many miles of beautiful 2 track pavement that leads to even more beautiful off-road trails. I have a 2017 KTM 1090R for the longer distance fast pavement and easier off-road trails, but plan on buying an AJP P7 for the closer and more technical off-road adventures. Great video, thanks for sharing!
You did a great choice with the PR7 i can promise you! The T7 is still a fantastic bike.... we all know.... But please stay away from the KTMs.... another story, but believe me as an austrian.....
I completely understand your choice. I had a short test ride on gravel with the PR7 and it was eye-opening. What a great bike! if I ride longer distances again this would be my #1 choice. Happy days with the Portugese underdog, Günter/Nürnberg
AJP and T7 may have a challenger coming their way. If KOVE is proving to be reliable and well built / price they may have to rethink their strategy. CF Moto will only grow I would think. Saying all that, AJP floats my boat. Weight, simplicity, reliability.
Thanks for sharing the unboxing with us and your thoughts, Robert. About the lights: I improved H4 bulb lights by changing to Philips and Osram LED replacement, also available in H7 version. It's maybe worth to look at it. May your crisis not end up in a low size crisis and your garage gets too much crowded 😂
thanks for the video, got my PR7 in May and have been going through the same issues.. There seems to be a cure for all the minor issues but I have not found a taller seat yet. I am not super tall at 185cm but feel that my knee angle could be more open to help with the ergos and rear brake when seated
Sweet machine! I’m in the exact same place mentally. 2016 AT since new, riding off-road solo, want something lighter w/o electronics. I think you made the right choice. I don’t know if there is an AJP dealer near me, but I’m going to look. Great video, as usual. Keep up the great work!
Love the video, love the new ride. I would love to know what it’s like on longer journeys of mostly tarmac if you get a dull day…I live in Glasgow in the UK and it’s a trek to get anywhere fun. Safe travels. (and yes, I am very much aware you don’t buy this bike for that sort of journey)
Great Bike. You are correct about the poor front lights. I am about to fit some H7 LED Bulbs with Diode between headlamp & low beam , 2 LED 's when in Headlamp position. Has to be better than O.E. on my 21 PR7.
With this restricted airflow, you need to remap the Athena GET fuel injection EFI, to get coherent maps values choices deducted from PCM sensors ;) Have fun !
Robert, that's not a midsize crisis, that's just an excuse you give at home to buy another awesome motorcycle...and looks like you succeeded, well done you! 😁👍
Great bikes. For me I think I would have widened the gap a little between the PR7 and T7. I have a world raid which I love. I think my lighter bike would be something around 400cc but not anything modern as they are mostly overweight or underpowered or both. CCM GP450 is brilliant. DRZ 400 is a solid workhorse if you can find a decent one. Had a couple of CCM 644's which were light and surprisingly good all rounders if you had to do some road miles. Much lighter than a 690 and reliable once the wiring is sorted out. Your PR7 looks fantastic with the retro graphics. Really nice bike and would be my choice if I didn't have the world raid.
Good one Robert! I think your winter project could be to design, maybe with the help of others, a new tank design for the T7. That bike is so good, apart from the balance issue, and I think a redesign of the tank would make it a much bertter biuke. The WR is already better, but it ought to be possible to get for example Acerrbis to design a lower tank systerm, maybe with slightly less capacity. What do you think? A T7 with a really low center of gravity would be amazing, no?
I only have problems with the T7 when riding in places it was not desiged for. Otherwise I have never disliked it. Now I will take the small bike on those trips instead
At the 18:05 mark I thought I was watching the wrong channel ... Eddie The Eagle ... ?? No ... that was Robert on his AJP ... P.Torres has nothing on you Robert ... Well done, mate.
Congratulations on the beautiful bike!😊 Would have been my choice too, but unfortunately there is no AJP dealer in Austria. So I bought a Honda CRF 300L, which I'm currently converting into a TET bike because my Husky 901 is too heavy for me. Best regards
Looking forward to see your journey with it! I didn’t notice anything mid in the amount of fun you had so far :) I have had a blast with mine this past season. As a result all of the original decals are in need of replacing. May I enquire where did you find templates for the decals? You have done an excellent graphic job.
Thanks. Yeah the fun was not ”mid” . Most decal shops allows you to customze the decals. I found a nice design and just told them how I want it personalized. www.livingthisbikelife.com/products/ajp-pr7-graphics-kit-rothmans
Very nice video Robert. It is an interesting bike. I hope it brings lots of good value and happiness to you. Personally I did not have the best experiences with Portuguese stuff apart from wine but I really like this bike and will follow your shenanigans with it. Where is the enduro track near the grass cottage? Maybe you can do a video about it. Cheers from Falbôgda
Yes we always have the wine to fall back to. Will happily take the risk for the people. The track is Lidköping Motorarena and it was an arranged event for adv bikes by company KÖR HOJ 👊🏻✊🏻
Now you’ve got me thinking that I might have to swap one of my T7 or 500 exc! 😂 but which one? My mid size crisis hit just before yours and I’m loving riding the lighter bike and learning new stuff just like you!
Ciao Roberto from an Italian living in Norway! 😁Super video! Crongrats for the portuguese beauty. Can I ask you where you got your personalized decals for the bike?
Hi Robert. Putting a new bike together is like foreplay. It's going to be f-ing great when you get to ride it. Being a big single, how is the vibration? I have real issues these days with my hands. I really like the bike. It';s a possibility. The Tenere is hell to pickup. I don't have any riding buddies left. All good from east Kentucky USA. Take care. maybe the snow will hold off a little longer.
Your presentation skills and dry humor rock! The way you measure the bikes' weight while hanging at an angle was brilliant. I think a comparison of all enduro/dualsport/adventure bikes done this way would be more valuable than the normal way of measuring weight. Did you have the same amount of fuel in both bikes? And another question: How do you get the bike delivered in a box? Can anyone do that, or is that only possible because you are a TH-camr?
Thanks mate :) Yes both bikes had about 1/3 fuel. More fuel would should show even more difference. Most new AJP are bought on back order with a 2 month wait on delivery from the factory (for Sweden at least). It was no problem delivering the box to my address instead of the reseller. It seemed to be a normal option for them. I could also ask them to send the decals in the box, not mounted on the bike. It's like talking to the chef in the kitchen :)
"MIchelin tracker, I love these tyres" WHAT???!???!??? That made me laugh! 😂 Coming from Enduro, that is the WORST tyre in the world. It is the old "AC10", they have to rename it to lost its bad reputation! For trail, or enduro in DRY conditions, OK. But those tyres are like cats, avoid anything wet. pd.: Midlife crisis guy here, thinking on buying a PR7, my ktm 300 is feeling lonely (And I am getting old 🙃) Great channel! Hi Robert, congratulations on your new bike! 🥳 I just got back from the motorcycle show in the UK. I saw both the T7 standard 2025 and the T7 Rally 2025. The Rally version costs £1,000 (around 1200 Euro) more than the standard. In your opinion, which one offers better value? Thanks in advance! 👍
Thank :) Well I have used the standard for 5 years and had no problems. I would like the rally because it has even better suspension but it's really no need if you don't plan to go a lot offroad. If you can take the high seat and want more suspension €1200 is not that much. I see people buying just suspension for twice that amount. But again, T7 is great in any shape.
Yes I did check out the Kove, but it was too much a racing tool for me and needs to be maintained like one. Looks smashing though. I rode the AJP and felt it was just right for me.
Nice degree force measurements. Those kilograms times 9.81m/s^2 and you will have the force in newtons you need to tilt the bike up from the point where the scale is measuring kilograms.🤔 F = ma Units 1N = 1kg*m/s^2
Very strange. I bet you had a reason to not go with standart exhaust&ECU/map but with Domi exhaust and tuned ECU (from the factory) and then trying to restrict it. I completely understand you effort because I know it is unnecessarily loud. Indeed that Domi exhaust package is meant for rallying literally. So, why didn't you really prefer the stock setup ? :)))
Denne er vel veldig lik KTM 690 enduro R i kjøre egenskaper vekta er lettere på AJP PR7 er vel også nærmere ren enduro mc vil jeg tro - Hilsen Kvase (Norje)
@@NomadSweden Thanks Robert. Would be interesting to see what speeds it shows at say 5000 rpm in 1st gear and 6th gear. From that we can determine how wide ratio it is. For example, the ratio difference for the T7 is 2.95. That is, the speed at a given revs in top gear is 2.95 times the speed in first gear. Hence a measure of how "wide" the spread is. The Honda 450L is 2.99, a bit wider. The 690/701/700 triplets have a closer ratio of 2.88. A good wide ratio would be something around 3.0 or higher, especially for a single cylinder that doesn't have a wide rev range. There is a Nova Racing wide ratio gearset for the 690 at 3.24.
AJP seems to have hit the nail on the head with this one. If they keep it simple and keep tweaking it to match customers feedback they will keep selling them quite well.

@@BarryOLaith-m8e4k kilometers is not a lot? In the states that's a short trip.
Thanks. You give me hope of riding at age 😊
This video was so fun to watch!!! I wish you many pleasant kilometres on it!!! Greetings from 🇬🇷 Greece
Glad you enjoyed it!
Nice video Robert...looks like a fab bike! Nice jump...it's a good feeling when you know you are airborne ! Enjoy your new steed. Cheers Steve 💚
Thanks Steve. I wanna go higher now 😊
You did a great choice with the PR7 i can promise you!
The T7 is still a fantastic bike.... we all know....
But please stay away from the KTMs.... another story, but believe me as an austrian.....
Thank you fellow Austrian 😊 I have relatives living and working in Mattighofen.
I completely understand your choice. I had a short test ride on gravel with the PR7 and it was eye-opening. What a great bike! if I ride longer distances again this would be my #1 choice. Happy days with the Portugese underdog, Günter/Nürnberg
Cheers Günter!
Gunter....just buy a PR7!!!! Cheers, Jack!!
@@gsj-66 Enjoy your dream machine, Jack!
AJP and T7 may have a challenger coming their way. If KOVE is proving to be reliable and well built / price they may have to rethink their strategy. CF Moto will only grow I would think. Saying all that, AJP floats my boat. Weight, simplicity, reliability.
So many options nowadays 😊it’s only the small details that will tip the decisions to one bike or another
Its pleasure to see. Congratulation.
Thank you! Cheers!
Wow, timely video! I've been looking at these after deciding my KTM 1290 Superduke is too big for me & my 250 EXC-F is too small. Thanks a million.
Glad it helped! Good luck 👍🏻
Mid size is ok Robert. Just need to know how to use it 😁 All in the hips 🕺
Indeed so 😊 cheers mate
Thanks for sharing the unboxing with us and your thoughts, Robert.
About the lights: I improved H4 bulb lights by changing to Philips and Osram LED replacement, also available in H7 version. It's maybe worth to look at it.
May your crisis not end up in a low size crisis and your garage gets too much crowded 😂
Haha thanks mate. Will check the leds
Great looking bike. I want one. Crises is happening....
thanks for the video, got my PR7 in May and have been going through the same issues.. There seems to be a cure for all the minor issues but I have not found a taller seat yet. I am not super tall at 185cm but feel that my knee angle could be more open to help with the ergos and rear brake when seated
Indeed the footpegs are high
I am so so happy for you. When you did the jump and it went into the slomo shot, i went like; WEEEEE.
Thank you 😊
Sweet machine! I’m in the exact same place mentally. 2016 AT since new, riding off-road solo, want something lighter w/o electronics. I think you made the right choice. I don’t know if there is an AJP dealer near me, but I’m going to look. Great video, as usual. Keep up the great work!
Cheers mate snd good luck 👍🏻
enjoy your new bike! I am still waiting for the resolution of a similar crisis, but then for riding with passenger.
We all have pur challenges. Good luck 👍🏻
Awesome bike. Congrats!
Thanks!
You've got a great healthcare system over there - go for it!!!
Haha 👊🏻✊🏻
Looks fun, lots of time to tinker, good for the soul 👍 it’s winter here now🥶my T7 is receiving some upgrades, zero cost of course 😉😁
Nice 👍
Love the video, love the new ride. I would love to know what it’s like on longer journeys of mostly tarmac if you get a dull day…I live in Glasgow in the UK and it’s a trek to get anywhere fun. Safe travels. (and yes, I am very much aware you don’t buy this bike for that sort of journey)
Thanks mate. Suprisingly comfortable on long transports. Not like a big bike but still good
@ You are a gentleman and a scholar! Thank you very much.
Happy for you Rob. Same crisis here but for other reasons :) ....anyway, an interesting 2025 is ahead of us.
Indeed so 😊
New bike day!!! 🙌 Och mysmekning i garaget. Kan inte bli bättre!!
Cheers från Alingsås!🍻
Vad gjorde man utan mysmek 😊
Great Bike. You are correct about the poor front lights. I am about to fit some H7 LED Bulbs with Diode between headlamp & low beam , 2 LED 's when in Headlamp position. Has to be better than O.E. on my 21 PR7.
Goos idea. Will check that out. Thanks
Such a lovely bike
Good video. Thank you.
I think it is a fun motorcycle. Really like the Rothman inspired colours. Safe travels!
Cheers!
Thanks Robert for your great video. You really helped me, I decided to have a therapy.
Next year a new bike😀
Good news 😊 best of luck
With this restricted airflow, you need to remap the Athena GET fuel injection EFI, to get coherent maps values choices deducted from PCM sensors ;) Have fun !
Indeed, I am experimenting. It was way to restrictive
one good looking bike!
Robert, that's not a midsize crisis, that's just an excuse you give at home to buy another awesome motorcycle...and looks like you succeeded, well done you! 😁👍
Thanks mate 😊👊🏻✊🏻
Thanks for the input! Cheers
Haha thanks buddy 😊
It's a very beautiful looking bike.
Damn I want one now
It is 😍
Congratulations,, i also like this bike. Good choice😊👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Cool 😊 thanks
Congratulations on the beautiful bike!😊 Would have been my choice too, but unfortunately there is no AJP dealer in Austria. So I bought a Honda CRF 300L, which I'm currently converting into a TET bike because my Husky 901 is too heavy for me. Best regards
Danke und Griass Di
@NomadSweden 🤣👍🏻
Die KTM 790 ist für mich Perfekt. Die Tenere 700 war mir zu gefährlich für Offroad.
I thought about the same test to measure the weight of the bike on its side. This should be a standard test 😊
Looking forward to see your journey with it! I didn’t notice anything mid in the amount of fun you had so far :)
I have had a blast with mine this past season.

Life is good for us when this is called crisis
Suzuki drz 4s is coming out :)). I have older one , tons of fun. For road I have Supertenere 1200c.c.

Ciao Roberto from an Italian living in Norway! 😁Super video! Crongrats for the portuguese beauty. Can I ask you where you got your personalized decals for the bike?
Thanks. The company is called ”living this bikelife”
Indeed a great way to get to know the bike. The vibrations are very low. Less than a 690. But noticable.
@NomadSweden Thanks. Do you know if the rally tower is easy to remove, for the bike to look more like a 701?
@@stefanhansen5882 4 bolts and it's off :)

Fun fun fun! Don't miss the winter rides! ❤ from Sibiu! How are the Michelin Trackers?
Yes some winter riding would be fun. I like the trackers. Good alsonon asphalt
"MIchelin tracker, I love these tyres" WHAT???!???!??? That made me laugh! 😂
Coming from Enduro, that is the WORST tyre in the world. It is the old "AC10", they have to rename it to lost its bad reputation!
For trail, or enduro in DRY conditions, OK.
But those tyres are like cats, avoid anything wet.
pd.: Midlife crisis guy here, thinking on buying a PR7, my ktm 300 is feeling lonely (And I am getting old 🙃)
Great channel! (avoiding the michelin thing 😂😂)
did you get the Rothmans livery from the outfit in Spain? Love this machine, nice vid
Got it from spain. Link in description

Robert, you are not Swedish....you are one of us (Tyskar) with that last name....Greetings from New York!
Danke sehr :) Actually my father (and most relatives) are Austrian. But you know how Swedish blondes can make you change your plans.
Weighing the bikes are a great idea all reviewers should consider this when making their videos top blog again mate😊

Great vid as always Rob! With a great bunch of info. How was the enduro trail run? All as expected, alot funnier on th PR7 than the T7 😂✊️✊️ Yiubhit som big air as well, thats nice! See You in the couch and lets talk mid size crisis! 😂 I need a project, and that takes shape!
Enduro run was awesome. I tried a lap on Seymors T7 and got exhausted :D Jumping on the MX track was exciting. Want to jump longer and higher :) Let's talk tjommi
@@NomadSwedenAhh, I thought You did a swap just to try it back to back! Can imagine the difference, did Seymor swap as well? If so, we will se Seymor on a PR7 as well 😂🙌 AJP Nordic, will have a boost ☝️😁🤙

Thanks. It’s directly from the factory. They dont make changes to models by year but introduce them in generations
Mid Size Crisis Indeed. New Bike day, I just purchased new AJP. You're investment in one helped me decide, thanks!

Next up, purchase bits and pieces to improve. Cheers 🍻
@@BradleySpivey-w3u Congratulations!
Thanks for your reply, Robert @NomadSweden

Did you ever considered a Kove 450 Rally as a contender? And was it an easy choice to go with the AJP?
Yes I did check out the Kove, but it was too much a racing tool for me and needs to be maintained like one. Looks smashing though. I rode the AJP and felt it was just right for me.
Robert, nice lightweightbike. Have fun with it. Question, what kind of tyres did you use on the Tenere during the Turkey trip. Thx

@@NomadSweden Thx for your reply. Many succes with the AJP.
Nice degree force measurements.
Those kilograms times 9.81m/s^2 and you will have the force in newtons you need to tilt the bike up from the point where the scale is measuring kilograms.🤔
F = ma

1N = 1kg*m/s^2

Haha arent we all 😊
Måste vara en underbar känsla att inte bara köpa en ny hoj utan även, öppna lådan, montera den och starta för första gången!
Ja det var härligt. Man lär känna hojen från start och mysmeka lite direkt.
AJP is actually bike which I could swap my KTM 640 Adventure for ... maybe...
Just remember there's help, there's a solution 😄
❤️😊
Very strange. I bet you had a reason to not go with standart exhaust&ECU/map but with Domi exhaust and tuned ECU (from the factory) and then trying to restrict it. I completely understand you effort because I know it is unnecessarily loud. Indeed that Domi exhaust package is meant for rallying literally. So, why didn't you really prefer the stock setup ? :)))
I went with Doma exhaust mainly for the materials. The standard is made of cheese and looks like a rusty pipe quite fast
@@NomadSweden I didn't know that, thank you.
Even lighter bike would be nice. This is still a big impovement. Tenere 700 will gather a lot of dust, it's just too heavy etc.
Time will tell about the T7. I do a lot of riding where the T7 is preferred also
Does it suck that Ktm and other brands are coming out with this style bike in 2025 ??
Haha not at all. KTM 690 already exist. The new ones are 390 and 450s with a lot of electronics
Vart köpte du den i Sverige?
Läs i beskrivningen till videon 👍🏻 försöker alltid lägga all info där
@NomadSweden Ah ok tack
690 is a softie. It's more of Manchester.
Denne er vel veldig lik KTM 690 enduro R i kjøre egenskaper vekta er lettere på AJP PR7 er vel også nærmere ren enduro mc vil jeg tro - Hilsen Kvase (Norje)
Hahaha... should have bought the KTM 350 and learned to FLY!!!!
Why do you have so much time on your hands? Retired early?
Small town, 50 meters to work and 6 hours work days 😊
Did AJP widen the gear ratios? Worth a watch of Alan Morcom's video and maybe consider a ratio change (if it still has an issue). tJn3QkNTojw
Not sure how it was before but 6th gear is lower than my T7. Really calm on highways
Thanks I will test this when temps are above zero again 😊
