the truck sounded ok to me, however, i noticed a orange looking light flickering inside the dash board, what does that mean? it looks like just minor to get it back running right once again? am i right?
Those year model of Duramax, had a bad problem with their transmission cooling lines. They had a rubber/metal mix of leaking compression connections, so you want to always keep an eye on the dipstick. Also if you use the proper fluid and change it often, they actually do last awhile. It even comes with a fancy drain plug and external filter, so you don't have to pan drop every time. Unfortunate that yours went out, but probably due to not being maintained.
I wanted an lb7 before I got my lbz. Not gonna lie I'd still love to have a round body ccsb lb7 with not allot of rust. My truck came from Michigan so you can imagine it lol
Ooof no doubt. This one has a lot of frame surface rust (compared to most here) but it’s because it lived off a caliche road. Always staying caked with it
I don't mind surface rust not 1 bit. Mine the crossbar on frame at front of the bed is gone, rockers inner and outter gone, fenders and bed sides are gone. But she just runs and drives too good for me to not justify trying to give it a much better life than it has had. I would say I'd offer to trade ya but gotta pay Mine off first 🤣
I would keep it fix it up then out the other vehicles and just have three good vehicles all the time a couple trucks and an SUV because you never know when it’s gonna rain
Never ever had a 60s broken truck last millennium. Today new millennium trucks are broken. The 3500’s getting a new engine. The 350 diesel no start. Gotta sierra 15 and the key is gone

Yeah. I doubt it had been maintained in the past. Oh well, I’ll get it rebuilt and it’ll be good for another 250k

If u still have it check the tcm on driver side of the fan shroud the tcm pins come out and that’s why u got that code for the trans
I do have it. I’ll check it out, it had been fixed, then the tcase gave out, and the. The trans shortly after the new tcase
