Why not just use a normal ice cream maker, cost about the same, and doesn’t have to freeze over night. Only takes 40 minutes to an hour.
Not really... That ninja ice cream maker is better than normal . My mom bought it. it's very good. we love it. I had normal ice cream maker . it was not creamy.

Where's the difference between ice cream and gelato?
Gelato is the fancy word for itallian ice cream. At it’s core it ice cream made without cream. Gives it a lighter texture. What the machine does differently I have no clue. As I comes down to the recipe of the base itself.
