    Very smart. Very simple. Very stable. This is the best DIY guitar stand I've seen online. Job well done.

    Nice! I like this video because, at difference of other, it uses more common tools and not big expensive ones. About the rack. I would modify the neck holder. it does not look too secured to me.

    Hi Stefan,
    Can you provide the dimensions of the side panels? Also are those rods 15mil or 22mil?
    Thanks

    after some use, have you found that the pipe insulation is still safe for guitar finishes?
    thanks!

    • @StefansGuitars
      @StefansGuitars  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah, it just works fine. The only thing is, that you get marks where your guitars sit, but with that the stance is even safer 👍🏻

    • @nmssis
      @nmssis 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      marks the guitar or the the shape of the guitar is impressioned onto the insulation?

    • @StefansGuitars
      @StefansGuitars  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It has marks on the insulation. The guitars are totally fine 😉

    • @StefansGuitars
      @StefansGuitars  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I fitted it to my guitars, it's about 25cm

    Hey, what kind of dimensions did you use for this? What size are those dow rods? What material is the foam? Wanting to build one on my own but not sure what I actually need and what size to cut anything!

    Nice job! What was your total cost to make this (if you don’t mind me asking)?

    • @StefansGuitars
      @StefansGuitars  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      +westallica5150 the costs for the material were very low, only about 25€. I got everything in the hardware store!

    Does the explorer fit in well or does it slide out of the stand?

    • @StefansGuitars
      @StefansGuitars  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Fits good, the insulation is grippy. But to be honest I have it on my wall all the time 😁

    Hello Stefan. I have a question about this guitar stand. Did the guitars have any signs of the nitro lacquer being worn off by the pipe insulation. I love the design you've made and would like to make it myself but some materials eat up the nitro lacquer on guitars. I had a wall mount for hanging one of my ibanez guitars and it just ate the lacquer around the headstock so I'm curious how it holds up after the guitars have been sitting in the stand for awhile.

      @StefansGuitars  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      hey nace, everything is fine with my guitars and they sit in the stand for almost a year now, no problem at all!

      First one: jon´s on fire by silent partner, second one: Thor´s Hammer by Ethan Meixsell.
      You can find these and other tracks in the youtube audio library!
