Thanks my friend. Had lots on at work and also personal problems but glad to have doe another video.. not sure when next will be, but hopefully soon ;o))))
Thanks Tony my friend. I am not too bad but been ill a bit recently... Same old things after my operations and work problems. Besides me, hope you are well my friend ;o))))
waddac2 sorry to hear that, yeah I'm well just very busy with work! 6 days a week, not to worry we're of to Greece for a break and so looking forward to it !
Thanks Dee. Well there is the pick I used in this video for two and three lever locks and also a set of tools for the same called try out keys. Regarding curtained mortice locks, you can buy, again try out keys for these. I purchased some for a member on our UKLS forum some time ago... There must have been at least 60 try out keys on the bunch... I was not impressed with them, and surely not for the price. I never even had a play with them.
Thanks Michael my friend... I have picked many 5 Lever Curtained mortice locks in the past.. But some 3 lever ones can cause problems. I got it open quicker in actual door.. No Vice moving I suppose LOL!!!!
Fantastic Video Rich. Cool Lock Too. I’ve Finally Picked Curtained & Non Curtained Locks Now & Chubb Cruiser & Battleship Padlocks With RB Locktool Lever Picks they are great. 👍🏻👍🏻. Speak soon. N. P.S. Nice Too See You Back My Friend...! Big Time. N. 👍🏻👍🏻. ;o)).
Cheers Nick buddy. Always great to see you and your comments my good friend. Mortice locks are a fun pick, weather curtained or not... Curtains are more fun ;o)))) Now, tools I do not have are padlock lever picks but are a must on my wish list.
Nice video but I'm wondering how about lever/handle locks where the door can be opened on one side and is locked on the outside? What I mean is that the door is not locked but on one side you can open the door and the other side requires a key to open. Could you make a video about that (how to pick it?) or do you have one already? If you already have on then where could I find it? Thanks
I think what you mean is called bolt side picking.. While doing this my lock would be spun round. I have a couple of 5 lever mortise locks picking both sides.
@@waddac2 I bought 2 of what he called "generic skeleton keys" but neither one worked on the door in question. They did work on some of my other doors though.
Yes... the 3 lever keys work a treat in too after getting the lock home. At the time of picking, I only had the RB tool as try out keys were in my other kit bag at work due to another lock out. LOL!!!
If you pick from the other side you swap the use of the arms?
Nice picking rich good to see you back nice video👏👏👏👏

interesting my friend
They are a fun pick my friend ;o))))
I guess I'll be hiring a locksmith.
Buy Try Out Keys... No Locksmith Needed At All ;o))))
@@waddac2 I bought 2 of what he called "generic skeleton keys" but neither one worked on the door in question. They did work on some of my other doors though.
@@opentrunk They are tools and you have to work with them, If not, they will not work for you!!!!!!.
@@waddac2 My sledgehammer says he'll work for me without me having to baby him. That's my kind of tool.... independent & self-confident.
@@opentrunk Use sledgehammer then and pay hundreds more for a door as well as a lock. LOL!!!!!
Wouldnt a 3 lever try out key av been just as good *
