    I really like the way you speak about the various types of problems that hemorrhoids present, not only to you as a treating doctor but to the suffering individual patient as well. I am not sure most people who suffer with the type 3 or 4 have the LUXURY of speaking to a doctor who’s so willing to explore each individual’s situation and explain how/why treatment may or may not be as successful as the patient would like. Dr Chung, please keep on with your very informative youtube presentations! I think your presentations are genuinely informative and personal ; especially since you, too, went through the hemorrhoid banding procedure in another video and shared your experience with us, your viewers. That was courageous of you and very informative! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and experience with us!

      Hello Doc Chung I have this garde 4 of which makes my life a bad 😞 one and sometimes I feel like I'm dying soon, but the way you walk through it just know I was attached to every part you pulled out. I can say I have been suffering from 1 up to this garde 4 and what I think that made me have to go through this; is that I was so naive until.. almost the end of grade 3 cuz now it's 4 and its very very expensive for me to afford that surgery which is needed. I'm here living what may or could be ma last days alive. 🙏All in all thanks for your special information it's really very helpful mostly for those who have young ones or little hemorrhoids

    Getting my grade 3 items removed in 2 weeks. Bleed frequently no matter what I do. I think there is a genetic component to this because I eat in an extremely healthy way, and my parents have both had problems with these things. Also, I never struggle when going to the bathroom. It always comes out easy. Prevents me from exercising as much as I want to as well as other activities. Wish me luck.

      could you share with me how the surgery was done?

    • @mj625
      @mj625 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +9

      @invinciblequeeneunike3095 I'm not sure what technique the doctor used, whether excised with a scalpel or laser, because the procedure really wasn't described to me. The doctor was a colorectal surgeon who has done a lot of these. Healing so far has been very slow and gradual, and pain is manageable with ibuprofen. My first BM was 2 days after, and it was mildly painful. It feels a little like micro-tears and needles coming out your rear end. Maybe about a 3-4 on a scale to 10. I made the decision to fast for a day and a half before the procedure, and for another day after the procedure, making my total fast about 67 hours. I think this has helped a lot because fasting keeps inflammation low in your body. I consume a ketogenic diet with soft foods at first, gradually changing to harder foods, also ketogenic. I highly recommend having a portable bidet bottle for use after a BM. Regular use of a bathtub and showers with a hand-held shower head are also extremely beneficial.

    Thank you Dr Chung for your advice and videos. They have been immensely useful to me. I have suffered with Grade 2 hems since childhood and since I turned 40 years, they became Grade 3 with prolapse requiring manual reduction and bled occasionally. I went to see a rectal surgeon and had banding done on all 3 groups and an additional banging, so total of 4. They helped it great deal, reduced the size and no bleeding now. So I would say for Grade 3 also they work, give them a try. I went to a surgeon who used forceps for banding with a scope and not the O Reagan method. Not much pain as well in recovering. So I would say give it a try for Grade 3 as well. They still need reduction manually but its way more manageable now. Maybe with another banding which I am contemplating they may get to Grade 2 or 1 even. I have had no issues with bowel movements before and after banding, so that may also play a role in healing.

Mine came back by the way. Slowly but 10 years later I'm hoping that it's not too bad the band. I'm pretty sure I'm at stage 3 now. It sucks because I don't drink like I used to and I eat good with plenty of fiber and I'm regular. I think some of us are just prone to get hemorrhoids.@tommarucci7381

    I have had about 7 banding procedures done over a period of 13 years with about 7 years before I had to have 5th one done.
    My piles used to prolapse with every bowl movement and would sometimes come out again depending upon how hard my stool was.
    Now however, they do not come out at all are basically gone.
    The biggest cause is passing hard stools believe me. Get your stool consistency right and you will be fixed.
    Oh and I would recommend having no more than two piles banded per session or the discomfort gets worse.

      so banding worked for you?

    • @tj9382
      @tj9382 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@Danny-wx6xv yes it has so far. In fact I had a six month follow up appointment yesterday and was told that I have a few grade 1 haemorrhoids which is what we all have and I don’t need any further treatment. The lifestyle changes I have implemented have worked and I can honestly say I have not been this good for as long as I can remember. So does banding work? The answer is yes it does but the key is not to let your condition get beyond the banding stage and make the necessary changes in your life (plenty of water, fruit, veg and enough fibre).

    • @tj9382
      @tj9382 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@Danny-wx6xv yes I see, I think it would be worth getting checked out, but you can manage grade 1 and two without further intervention. Just keep alert to any changes that may indicate they are getting worse. However, this should not happen if you maintain good lifestyle. Good luck.

    I had grade 4 that have shrunk on their own that started from eating ghost pepper sauce. I took an insanely hot shower daily for a week and used bitter orange peel extract. It shrunk it down to grade 3. Yoga exercise and side squats helped after daily a while it shrunk a bunch but I accidentally cut it and got a fissure. The fissure made it worse. Kept doing the orange peel extract and exercise over a 4 years and it dropped to grade 2 then the fissure came back flared back to a 3 due to some legal stress . I doubled down on my diet and I ordered pranicura and it stopped the bleeding almost completely in 2 weeks so far and I’ve doubled down on my yoga ate salad everyday and switched to a whole diet with no processed foods and now they are grade 1 and getting better everyday. I’ve made it 2 week now with no bleeding and there barely are even hemorrhoids. I just have a fissure that wouldn’t go away on its own and the kaolin clay clotted it right up. Main thing is your habits and DO NOT PUSH! Wait till it just is readily to come out.

      I had it done 10 years ago for some pretty serious grade fours that would pop out and bleed if I was on my feet more than a couple minutes. They didn't just bleed as I'm sure you understand. They also hurt incredibly bad. I was 30 when I got the surgery done. Definitely extremely painful. I ended up having to wear diapers because my rear end had to shrink back up I guess. I kid with people all the time and I ask them, how do you know that you need to poop after you got your a hole cut out? And then I tell them the truth, you know because your pants are full.😅 Anyway, I'm terrified of having the surgery again but I'm 40 now and I need to do something because they came back and I don't want them to get as bad as they were. I'm already at stage 3. I think some of us are just prone to it. I don't drink like I used to and I eat way better than I'd had before. Plenty of fiber and I'm regular like clockwork. Took me about a month to be able to do anything besides scuffle up and down the hallway and Hiss at everybody in the house because I couldn't sleep and hurt so bad. Anyway, hope you're doing well. And I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. Having these hemorrhoids come back is a terrifying nightmare come to life. Except the first nightmare was a reality.😢😅😊

    Do you do THD surgery? It is hard to find people who do it. I have found walking around to help to make them go back inside; along with drinking at least 100 ounces of water a day... but i still have pop goes the weasel moments and I would prefer to have something less-invasive done. I've had those godawful shots given to shrink them (worked really well for about 6 months--- but the hemi still likes saying hello!). Really NOT a fan of that horrible scope used to look up the butt. Its barbaric! I've had them since I was 18... last time someone looked he said they were grade 2/3. I have had a thrombosed one once in 2012.

      It's always concerning when your recovery has a bump in the road. Hi Doctor, I only discovered your channel today as I try and sit here in pain...I had a haemorrhoidectomy back in 2008 where 2 haemorrhoids were removed leaving one behind.. that one has been grade 3 ever since, prolapsing daily...I have been able to manage it with some annoyance, I then had banding done on it in 2018 and it was gone for about 6 months and I have been managing it since as a grade 3...until this week when it went full on grade 4 and thrombosed...the Emergency department sent me home on Tuesday night reluctant to operate due to my past surgery and told me to return in 4 weeks..its improved a little but remains prolapsed and can be quite painful still...Im taking sitz baths multiple times per day, using ice, taking anti-inflammatories etc but I am wondering will it shrink naturally or will the pain decrease? I don't care about skin tags if it just wasn't painful ..is there any hope without further surgery as the last surgery was hell.....thanks very much your channel is like an oasis of hope...regards

      THE CURE FOR ANAL HEMORRHOIDS & ANAL FISSURES!!
      Let’s get straight to it.
      1. Go to Walmart and buy an empty paint bucket. Big enough to where you can put your whole butt in. (Weird I know but trust me)
      2. BUY GARLIC!
      3. Come home
      4. Cut 2/3 of one garlic into small pieces, or just blend it into small pieces.
      5. Put the cut up garlic into the bucket. (Without the water)
      6. Boil water! Make it HOT! Use 1.5 deer park water bottles or any regular water bottles. But use one and a half water bottles.
      7. Once the water is boiling and HOT. Put the hot water into the bucket with the garlic.
      8. Put a towel around the rim, or small towels around the rim to avoid discomfort when sitting on/in the bucket.
      9. Allow the steam from the hot water and garlic to allow your butt to soak it all in.
      10. Sit there for ATLEAST 10 minutes or until the water is cooled down.
      11. Sometimes you can let some steam out if it gets too hot or just switch positions if too uncomfortable.
      12. BUT try to soak in all the steam and don’t let too much escape!!
      LOOK GUYS… I know this sounds really weird because I thought the same thing!! My family made fun of me for doing this but IT FUCKING WORKS! I suffered from anal fissures and hemmorhoids for 5 months! NOTHING WORKED MAN! I AM SO THANKFUL THAT I FOUND THIS SOMEWHERE ONLINE.
      THE RELIEF IS FUCKING AMAZING!! I promise you. I do it 2x a day! BUT YOU CAN DO IT AS MANY TIMES AS YOU WANT. After a bowel movement, in the morning, at night, midday, WHENEVER AND HOWEVER MANY TIMES. Just have some time spaces in between.
      A supplement that also helped me in those 5 months BEFORE I found this cure is Ancestral Supplements Trachea. Here’s the link…
      ancestralsupplements.com/products/grass-fed-bovine-tracheal-cartilage-by-ancestral-supplements?_pos=1&_sid=39dbf9f77&_ss=r
      It is REALLY GOOD for INFLAMMATION & WOUND HEALING!!! Especially if you have anal fissures and your ass hole has a cut or is bleeding all the time. I PROMISE THIS IS WORTH IT!
      I want to share this message to the whole world because I never thought I’d have these problems at 27!! A young man! GUYS PLEASE TRY THE GARLIC AND HOT WATER METHOD! TRUST ME! FUCK THE SURGERY!
      If you guys have ANY QUESTIONS. Feel free to reach out to me on my Instagram. @naeemc96
