US Military Gets Anthrax Inoculation

December 15, 1997 - The United States military decides to vaccinate all of its active and reserve troops against the threat of germ warfare. UN weapons inspectors discovered that Iraq had produced 240 gallons of weapons grade anthrax along with Scud missile warheads for delivery.
