Haha, yeah that's my main philosophy in teaching guitar. If people can understand how their body works then they can target their mistakes much more effectively. My goal is to get people to be able to teach themselves and diagnose their own mistakes...if you'd like to check out more about the physiology and technique check out these free articles I wrote, hopefully you'll be able to use the material to your benefit.

This is something I’ve known intellectually for awhile, but it usually takes a bit of the old devil’s lettuce for me to really embody it. Cheers for the reminder. I’m gonna work on this.

    Hey Guitar Aragorn guy!
Your explanations keep amazing me. I've improved so much details since I've found your vids. All this knowledge feels premium and like paid features!
    Anyway, I'm really grateful!

I can't find the video right now, but I am referring to the one where you showed how your fingers are connected.
Since you helped me, I want to pass on a piece of advice to you as well:
Try not to break the connection by repeating the same execrise [pinkie &mid, ring & forefinger ] over and over again.
I have tried so and reached the limits of what is possible that way. Your body will show you your limits and it will hurt.
Instead you'll have to change the exercise, try playing each finger on its own as you would on piano for example - just experiment
I guess that is unique for everyone and a process that takes a lot of time. Try also to take the movement from your brain rather your muscle
[very concious] and try feeling what your body is trying to tell you in terms of the movements it wants to seperate the fingers further.
All the best Max, and thanks,
    Marc
