A good reminder to always check both, the part to be installed and the receiving end part. You admit to but it could have happened to anyone. A caliper or a different plunger on hand would have been an entire different video. With all due respect, Jesse, I dont feel their tone was condescending. Maybe I’m just not soft. They tested it, worked. Gave you a refund and sent you the slide. Thats CS service right there. Simply pointed out that the end user could have caught this. Then again, you expected the Plunger to be in spec and they had no way of knowing the plunger was out if spec…Cant wait for a a first shots!
They made it more than right. Their choice of wording in the email was unfortunate. They could have said they tested it with theirs and oem parts and it worked, therefore they could find no issues with the slide and leave it at that. There is no need for passive aggressive comments to customers.
Well, to be honest I probably would not have checked the spec on that part, either. When I buy a part, I expect it to be correct. It all adds up to it not being Leo’s fault. Agreed..their ‘people skills’ could be better. 🤛🏻🔫🇺🇸
@@jesseboutdoors I’m sure they’ll get you taken care of but for me it’s always frustrating when a part is out of spec. Sig has done that several times for me on their OEM parts. Hard enough to make sure I’m doing it right then to find it was a bad part! But yah I agree in them blaming you. They should have said maybe you had a bad part or something.
@@triggerbarPhD I agree with you on them. First they wanted me to file the hole. Then that email. I’m still going to give the slide a fair review though if it works good when I get to that video.

@@DesertTactical guess that’s what happens when you use both a slide and a parts kit for the first time.
@@jesseboutdoors all I can say, is that if anyone is at fault here, its the out of spec plunger manufacturer. Lets see that slide in action, Bro!
I’ll speak for Anderson on this and that issue is 100% on us.

Hello Jessie!

great service from them but that operator error bit was too much
@@HarshmanHills that’s what I thought.

About 10% yours.
@@RTACDaughters I’m definitely taking a little. I could have took one out of one of my other slides and checked it.
@@jesseboutdoors I never did i just fix it.
I’d be more mad at Anderson personally
@@triggerbarPhD they have been contacted about the situation.
