Actually let's clarify that statement. 2 years older than European settlement in Australia. The First Nations people have been around for 75,000 years..... the oldest known civilisation on Earth. (The building is still fantastic though, and Aussies are often blown away when discovering evidence of older settlements both in Australia through cave paintings and dwellings overseas.)

If you decide to plant the verbena there, you might like to also plant some spring flowering bulbs for a spring show and let the verbena have the stage for the summer showing. Both flowers like the gravel , well drained flower bed arrangement. Oh, and plant a variety of spring flowering bulbs to give a succession of blooms from early, to mid to late spring flowering varieties. You could even plant some fall flowering crocus bulbs for post verbena flowering interest. If you are wanting to minimize weeding of this verbena gravel flowering bed, you might like to plant hosta as a border plant at the edges of the gravel area to help prevent the grass from the surrounding landscape from growing in. I have found great success using hosta as border plant between lawn areas and my island planting areas. Hosta's do a great job on restricting the amount of grass that can grow into my island flower beds. With so many hosta varieties available to choose from you can easily find a low maintenance, vigorous grower for your lighting conditions, plus hosta flowers at my place attract hummingbirds and hummingbird moths. Or just surprise us all with your creative and innovative choices. Gardening is like painting, just choose the color, texture and height pallet that best suits your fancy.

When you click on link you gave above re BUY ME A COFFEE it takes you to a page that says “Be the first to support Yip & Paul etc” but when you click on that - rien !!! Tried lots of times on two devices x links to Donate and the Lorry both working 👍 Re Super Chat a good example is Isak Finnbogason - ICELAND FPV - look in the comments and there’s a heart shaped icon with dollar sign - that opens to a £ menu !! He does lots of live videos so I’m not sure if Super Chat is a live facility - lots of how to on you tube tho !

If you decide to plant the verbena there, you might like to also plant some spring flowering bulbs for a spring show and let the verbena have the stage for the summer showing. Both flowers like the gravel , well drained flower bed arrangement. Oh, and plant a variety of spring flowering bulbs to give a succession of blooms from early, to mid to late spring flowering varieties. You could even plant some fall flowering crocus bulbs for post verbena flowering interest. If you are wanting to minimize weeding of this verbena gravel flowering bed, you might like to plant hosta as a border plant at the edges of the gravel area to help prevent the grass from the surrounding landscape from growing in. I have found great success using hosta as border plant between lawn areas and my island planting areas. Hosta's do a great job on restricting the amount of grass that can grow into my island flower beds. With so many hosta varieties available to choose from you can easily find a low maintenance, vigorous grower for your lighting conditions, plus hosta flowers at my place attract hummingbirds and hummingbird moths. Or just surprise us all with your creative and innovative choices. Gardening is like painting, just choose the color, texture and height pallet that best suits your fancy.

When you click on link you gave above re BUY ME A COFFEE it takes you to a page that says “Be the first to support Yip & Paul etc” but when you click on that - rien !!! Tried lots of times on two devices x links to Donate and the Lorry both working 👍 Re Super Chat a good example is Isak Finnbogason - ICELAND FPV - look in the comments and there’s a heart shaped icon with dollar sign - that opens to a £ menu !! He does lots of live videos so I’m not sure if Super Chat is a live facility - lots of how to on you tube tho !
