People mistake that you are a critique, But rather I admire your keen correction of gross and subtler mistakes that you point else that could have devastating consequences
Joe might be a high offender but thanks to him I got into kettlebells. Never would discovered this channel if it wasn’t for Joe Rogan. Btw ❤ this channel
Same, i often listen to JRE so him talking about KB then some googling and 2 years later im amazed with the results, wish i knew about this when i was a teenager instead of going into a gym doing random bs 15 years ago.
I am glad I began my kettlebell journey with the right knowledge and not these people covered in this video; got folks like you, Funk Roberts and Chandler Marchman to thank. Merry Christmas!
Great video as always. These videos of people bending their backs or hinging in weird ways is like nails on a chalkboard...spinal injuries are no joke.
Love the reaction videos. But I think this is the first time I've seen you do a dead double clean: what are the benefits/disadvantages of it? Have you done a video on it? Thank you so much for your time and videos, they're so informative.
Oh I get it, this is like a compilation of the worst kettlebell techniques you’ve seen from your reaction videos list 😂 I remember your reaction videos for all these people
My reaction: Joe Rogan - What the hell joe? The second guy - Are you kidding me? lol Jillian Michaels - NO!!!! Bob Harper - Ouch! You - I'm not an expert, but your adjusted long cycle looks overloaded. but learning a ton from you!
I think the comment on “if you are a beginner, your form does not need to be perfect.” Is a good one, but I might modify to say, it doesn’t have to be perfect, but you want to TRY to do it properly. Your first reps are your worst reps, so they probably won’t be very good at first, but if you’re trying for proper form, eventually you’ll get better as opposed to grooving an injury in the future
@@lebe-stark I think I remember seeing that interview too. I think where it becomes more important is when you start working with heavy weights. I was going to say‘heavier’ but if you go from swinging 16k to 20k, you probably won’t have ‘too’ much of a problem, 32k and up? Your form needs to be more precise 😁. Then again, most normal people aren’t going to be swinging 32k + 😂 and I do realize that I’m lumping myself as not being ‘normal’
I like how you flipped the script at the end by stating the obvious- the TH-cam algorithm likes this content & it boosts views, so yeah, I'm going to take advantage of that plus give helpful commentary on how to do it right.
If someone is teaching something need to think about the responsibility of making others injured with a bad form, not correct details etc.... Kettlebell is another tool what need to learn how to use properly and many people just making a cheap " pt instructor " course where they'll learn something not correctly with kettlebells... The real business even not to make an instructor course but to give a certification for a cheap price.... Other problem is when already someone is instructor and the ego is saying it is enough to learn on TH-cam academy...
@@mrmanifesto Fascist? What are you talking about?? He peaches the opposite of fascism, the opposite of authoritarianism and the opposite of forcibly suppressing opposing views.
Have you ever viewed the content of KB trainer Steve Cotter? Cotter was friends with Pavel way back in his Dragon Door days. The reason i ask is I've seen him exeute onearm swings similar to Jilian Michaels. He does have a flat back (neutral spine) and he hinges well. He might be someone to look at.
Steve Cotter is the guy who trained Gregory how to use kettlebells the correct way (after he made the video of himself doing the long cycle the wrong way). I think Lebe Stark is familiar with his technique even without viewing his video content since he’s the one who trained them 😅 Gregory has called Steve his “Kettlebell Sensei”
Appreciate this breakdown! Thanks to this channel, in the last few weeks I 100% corrected and “cleaned up” my clean and press (thanks to the suggestion of correctly racking, imagining that straight line and my fist and elbow being in alignment and elbow IN, not out like a chicken wing 😂). Like I said, appreciate the clarity this video provides! Thank you LS!!
I know its not the right place to comment this but what do you think about combining gymnastics rings pull ups and dips with kettlebell swings, snatches, presses, cleans and squats.
Hats'off , you are noticing the most subtlest of the moves, in turn that makes a big world of difference as a correct execution supposed to be, thank you so much for your painstaking effort to scrutinise the content on youtube
Not sure about the bent back one, seen the Kneesovertoes guy doing some stuff with a bent back and that guy is doing alot of things right. I will agree by conventional logic that its wrong...but I am not prepared to write it off. Thats the problem with most exercise, depends who you listen to.
Gregory do you have video clips to help getting the proper grip on the Kettlebell like you have? I notice you tuck your fingers in and you hold the Bell on one end of it instead of the center. Thanks in advance for your input
Well done Greg happy new year and seasons greetings all the best for next year looking forward to many more videos and useful content for us kettlebells virgins
Gregory, your critiques never mock anyone. They are a great learning tool.
Appreciate it!

"Must say that I am really surprised Joe Rogan got that wrong" ...... said no one ever.
A constructive disapproval of what he said, without appeal to authority might get you somewhere.

Joe has been substantial in pushing the idea of kettlebell training, so kudos to him! Thanks for the love!

It's your videos that got me into kettle bell's. Wildman Athletics also plays into my kettle bell work outs.
The v shred guy is KILLIING me with the wrist dorsiflex!! Ughhhh.
V-Shred is a legend in his own right… lol
My back hurts just looking at these! So glad I found you to perform correctly!
Even my man, Gregorio has come a long way since his early days. Happy Holidays, Lebe Stark.
I am glad I began my kettlebell journey with the right knowledge and not these people covered in this video; got folks like you, Funk Roberts and Chandler Marchman to thank. Merry Christmas!
Great to hear!
Joe, that was the most try hard kettlebell showing off I’ve ever seen.
Great video as always. These videos of people bending their backs or hinging in weird ways is like nails on a chalkboard...spinal injuries are no joke.
Everyone is just one bad kettlebell move away from the Ass Kickers United episode of Always Sunny
2:42 i guess this is before she messed up her back and had a chat with dr Stuart McGill
thanks bro!
I can only assume that V Shred’s physical therapist drives a Lamborghini (gotta put all that money somewhere 😂)

Dead cleans are just a different technique. Try it. If you don't like it, do something else.
Learning all the time on your videos!!! Thanks Gregory 👍👍
Glad to hear it

Good point! Although, we have scientific evidence that some people didn't get better with their technique over time, yet gained powerful results.

You're so welcome!
My elbows are in pain just by watching that!

I don’t know but I could see the Rogan exercise being beneficial. Could be a good cardio.

Joe Rogan's "gorilla clean"technique just horrible...😮😮😮
Co incidentally, all are americans
Correlation doesn't equal causation, my friend.
I bet Joe Rogan got more folks swinging than Pavel.
They’re both at the top of list! 🔥
Still funny watching the little fascist flailing around

Agree!

Try it and see how your body reacts.
As an IKFF guy, you might want to check out The Encyclopedia of Kettlebell Lifting 1&2 since Steve is doing that same exercise in that series.
