    I think the comment on “if you are a beginner, your form does not need to be perfect.” Is a good one, but I might modify to say, it doesn’t have to be perfect, but you want to TRY to do it properly. Your first reps are your worst reps, so they probably won’t be very good at first, but if you’re trying for proper form, eventually you’ll get better as opposed to grooving an injury in the future

    • @lebe-stark
      @lebe-stark  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Good point! Although, we have scientific evidence that some people didn't get better with their technique over time, yet gained powerful results.

      @@lebe-stark I think I remember seeing that interview too. I think where it becomes more important is when you start working with heavy weights. I was going to say‘heavier’ but if you go from swinging 16k to 20k, you probably won’t have ‘too’ much of a problem, 32k and up? Your form needs to be more precise 😁. Then again, most normal people aren’t going to be swinging 32k + 😂 and I do realize that I’m lumping myself as not being ‘normal’

    If someone is teaching something need to think about the responsibility of making others injured with a bad form, not correct details etc.... Kettlebell is another tool what need to learn how to use properly and many people just making a cheap " pt instructor " course where they'll learn something not correctly with kettlebells... The real business even not to make an instructor course but to give a certification for a cheap price....
    Other problem is when already someone is instructor and the ego is saying it is enough to learn on TH-cam academy...

    Have you ever viewed the content of KB trainer
    Steve Cotter? Cotter was friends with Pavel way back in his Dragon Door days.
    The reason i ask is I've seen him exeute onearm swings similar to Jilian Michaels. He does have a flat back (neutral spine) and he hinges well. He might be someone to look at.

    • @davidchung3923
      @davidchung3923 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Steve Cotter is the guy who trained Gregory how to use kettlebells the correct way (after he made the video of himself doing the long cycle the wrong way). I think Lebe Stark is familiar with his technique even without viewing his video content since he’s the one who trained them 😅
      Gregory has called Steve his “Kettlebell Sensei”

Thanks to this channel, in the last few weeks I 100% corrected and “cleaned up” my clean and press (thanks to the suggestion of correctly racking, imagining that straight line and my fist and elbow being in alignment and elbow IN, not out like a chicken wing 😂). Like I said, appreciate the clarity this video provides! Thank you LS!!
