Now I know how to tackle my own E34 doors. Thanks for the details.

The window channels need to be lubed as well to relieve the stress on the regulators. More so on the flimsy e39s, but on e34s as well.

Ahh, Luke Skywalker with his eco friendly, BMW slaying LED light sabre! Great work dude, this thing is gonna' look sweet after a fresh coat of paint, hope the painter has an oven to bake it too. That interior looks delish my man, can't wait for the next episode. 👍😎

Ah a fellow classic BMW owner in Ontario! Greetings from Quebec :)
If ever you lose the guide you made for the badge position, you can access the service manual on the BMW service website (for a small fee). There's a section with exact measurements on where to place the badges.

I wish to thank you very much. I have an e34 as well and I wish to get it fully and properly repainted. The trim at 10:10 of the video is busted and I had no idea you could remove it, I thought it was glued to the door. I was looking at junkyard doors to completely replace it because of the trim. Thank you so much for the video, I learned a lot about the car and what to watch out for. Also a question. The clips on the chrome trim around the doors, can they be bought and replaced if they break, or do you have to buy a new trim piece? Thanks in advance, can't wait for the follow up videos :)

The chrome around the windows has clips, I will be replacing them in the next video when I put them back. Glad you found the video useful good luck with yours!!

That was,by far,the most interesting strip show I've ever watched!I guess the new light bars made it more appealling...speakin' of which, installing a couple of more on the ceiling will improve things quite a bit.Especially when you get your bimmer back from the paint shop.I'm pretty sure, after putting it back together, you're gonna feel like kissing yourself.....
