I sang this with my uncle once. We'd never jammed together. My father was a musician and named me after this legend. My uncle was shocked how much I sounded like Otis. I saw his smile as soon as I sang. Such a special moment. He joined my father in heaven not long after that but I was so blessed to have had that moment with him. Wow, just wow! My parents owned a small lounge when I was a kid that had a jukebox. This was one of their favorite songs to play on the jukebox and now it's one of my favorites. Otis was from Macon, Georgia, just 30 minutes from where I grew up.
