Efficiency, knowing what is required for their customers, through to a network that is made to transport huge numbers of people in comfort, safety, style. Well done Japan, I have much admiration for your management of your country. In comparison to here in the UK, you guys are decades ahead, seriously.

Hey, I'm a half japanese guy and I was born in Matsusaka! I've been here for the past month and, when I saw the Marm-Aeon mall in the background while you were eating the Matsusaka beef dish (and yes, that is perfect timing, eating it while passing through Matsusaka), it reminded me of my childhood, I spent so much time there... that place sadly closed 2 weeks ago 😢 Watching your videos, I want to go visit some of these places in summer, after I sort out my personal stuff back in my (other) home country. Thanks for the awesome (and funny) content! P.S I have never been on the Shimakaze, but I have been on all other trains on Kintetsu (from local, semi-express, express, and limited express/tokyu) and I'll have to say, they're the best thing after Shinkansen and genuinely much more convenient, although pricier than JR for a lot of reasons. Best part is, they have 1, 3 and 5 day passes too, so if you ever end up in Mie or Nara prefectures (and Kyoto, Osaka or Nagoya), these can save you a lot of money!
We started watching international travel videos frequently during the pandemic and fell in love with Japan. We just found your channel recently. These videos are great! We were giggling so much on this one! Keep up the good work! Will be watching more!
I especially like two things about your videos. Firstly, your dry sense of humor. And secondly... you're the only person making travel videos who is sensitive to handicap accessibility issues. I've never seen anyone else's videos that mention accessibility, but you do. Thank you.
This was such a relaxing video to watch! I love the humor, the amazing train and beautiful Japanese scenery outside. Wish I could ride a train in Japan someday.
It has long since been my dream to visit Japan and I adore watching your videos. You are so funny and informative and really calming. Thank you for the amazing content x
Well there are many countries that have amazing train rides through their country, the country side, through the city, along the coast or through the mountains, and people traveling from other countries just to go on scenic train rides in other countries, sleep in train cabins, eat luxurious food, meet people from all over, or just use the train to get across the country if they don’t like to fly in an airplane. Just sit back and enjoy the views. My husband and I took a long train ride through parts of Alaska, it was comfortable, good food and the views were beautiful, it was awesome! 😁
I wish Amtrak trains were as nice as Japan's trains. More people would take them. Thank you for sharing your trips. I am truly enjoying everything that I see along with you.
It's wonderful sometimes to travel in a private compartment on a train. All the privacy and whatever one enjoys doing. We hope to see those places in person and maybe meet you in the future. I hope you have more great travels to come and we are always looking forward to your new uploads. Be safe! 😊
