For viewers that don't know, Rae'Yeet is played by Noah Averbach-Katz, who is married to Tilly/Killy actress Mary Wiseman. He played Ryn on Discovery and regularly streams STO and other Star Trek games on Twitch.
Man, this weekly series has been a highlight of the week for me for a veeery long time now. I'm going to greatly miss having this to look forward to every Wednesday, due to chronic illness I've had precious few of those, so just having something positive coming up every week has really helped. I really hope you pick up new (or old, heh) games to cover in a similar way, the format has honestly been amazing and I'm sure it would work just as well in many other games, putting the story center stage without getting bogged down in the gameplay. Can't wait for next week even if it's the end of an era!
Love your series, and looking forwards to the next missions as they come out. Since you’re getting pretty close to present-state STO, are you planning any other games for your “Story Series” style? KotOR or SWtOR would be pretty awesome to see.
I love watching these as I don't have sound on my computer it's nice to hear the talking lol also love your videos in general always what I watch as I play sto
I figured he's still part of the merged entity, hence the 'they'; a multi-part gestalt entity where only the given name was used to address the singular entity before (that, or trying to bring in 21st century gender-neutral pronouns and bad writing that didn't research the speech patterns of Ilia in the movie. ;-) But I'll choose to assume it's an intentional choice to identify the now multi-faceted consciousness of the merged V'Ger entity). Presumably Ilia is a part of that entity, too, although it seems she's been in some sense disconnected to exist in this independent form.
They do battle each other in the previous level. I know they didn't interact that much or at all but they could be building it up where they do have a face to face showdown where they do interact.
It's always just the tiniest bit confusing to me when V'Ger shows up. We've got two different very important spots in star trek named Voyager or names descended from it so I have to do some quick mental double takes to remember we're talking about the modern Voyager, not the USS Voyager
The Terran Emperor wants to use the "Other", an entity of quite ludicrous power and intelligence, as a weapon. This sounds familiar. Didn't B'Vat of the Klingon Empire try something like that a while ago? I seem to recall that didn't work out too well for him. (Oh wait, in this timeline it was a Romulan officer? Or am I getting that mixed up? I hate temporal mechanics.)
I knew I recognised Cmdr Burgess's voice!. The same voice actor who did the voice of Dr Rosenberg in the Half Life games. Well Blue Shift and Opposing Force anyway
When people use the phrase 5 by 5 it's as stupid sounding as WilCo ( will comply ) or Huey ( helicopter ) it will not hold up to time like saying their or it's ready . Lmao
please can you talk about the sonic School driver from Doctor Who how does it function das the doctor create on his Sonic School drivers itself I saw the TARDIS one's create one for the doctor and do you think we can have some kind of sonic School drivers in the next fifty years so
@@goldenknight578 No, no. School driver. The latest versions have to be installed at the start of each school year so it'll remain compatible with Windows.
“At least I’ve never fought Klingon toddlers.” Oh God, that was too good 😅

I couldn't help but have Robot Chicken going through my head during that bit.

And also livestreams D&D with other Discovery cast.
Well worth tuning in.
Dude is living the Trekkie dream
The Terran version of Voyager was probably some kind of Von Neumann probe that ended up destroying much of what it encountered.
Did anyone else notice that once the Inquisitor was engaged in combat, his DSC rifle transformed into the terran phaser rifle ?
9:42 ; There's an easter egg one can find if looking behind the rock where Rae'Yeet was once the player gets control of the Inquisitor.
who or wat is it?
Cool to see more of Ilia and V'ger! Always been curious where their story could've gone.

Something about a Star Trek character just being like "this place sucks" is hilarious to me.
I look forward to your playthroughs every week. Thank you.
What an exciting story!!!

KOTOR but in the theme of Captain Hale playing a holodeck story on board the Armiger…
@@bigglessy Oh I like that idea.

Makes me wonder where Decker is. Since if I remember correctly he too became part of VGer.
Probably too busy trying to "merge" with children.

I do wonder who the prime counterpart of Rae'Yeet is, that is if there is a prime counterpart?
Maybe Captain Shan
He's living a quiet domestic life as tuber farmer and part-time tourist guide on Andoria in the prime universe. I met him on my last Tour the Galaxy.
Love the story series!
I wish the Inquisitor and the Player will be cooperating soon. Looking forward to the upcoming stories.

The beat is about to drop...
This episode was incredible

Actually, to the best of my knowledge, V'Ger was originally Voyager 4, not one currently in space IRL.
@@darianleyer5777 Voyager 6.
@@darianleyer5777 It was supposedly Voyager 6, but we've only sent out two of them (so far).

Always like this Celibate Ingame stuff.
Called it!
I wonder if Prime Tilly will show up again without Hale time travelling or a flashback.

9:00 his name is Reg YEET!
I knew I recognised Cmdr Burgess's voice!. The same voice actor who did the voice of Dr Rosenberg in the Half Life games. Well Blue Shift and Opposing Force anyway
FYI, this video is missing from the Chapter 11 playlist.
They named this man YEET!
I wonder what are the details around how they acquired such knowledge about V'ger (sic?)
I don't know whether it's in this episode, or another. But Quinn keeps referring to Ilia as a Lieutenant Commander...
Are we going to see mirror Rick/Rik again? That would be awesome!
So where's Decker (the other)?
Since you'll be caught up pretty soon, is Hale planning on heading to Risa after this?
Mirror Universe V'ger..... Pants to be darken....
Pew pew pew
They made a Deathstar.
@Certifiably Ingame This episode is missing from the playlist
G'Ver?
So the other isn’t Voyager 2?!
This episode is not in the playlist
👏👍
do you think what win the Imperium of Man Kind from Warhammer 40.000 all the Borg from Star Trek?
