    Overall good job mate. two things:
    you don't read back "report" and turn to final on 11L is overhead the narrowing of the two bodies of water that way you wont get that massive final, and it'll set you up perfectly for final. good luck with the CPL

      Hey John, thanks mate appreciate it. Yeah I’ve always read that back because it made sense to me based on how the approach is. But I’ve pinned your comment to the top so others know it’s not a requirement as well. I’ll try turning towards that narrowing on my next flight too, thanks again

    Really enjoyed this. Brings back good memories. Did my PPL there and then my CPL at YSHL. Being a student at YSBK keeps you on your toes and your head on a swivel. Fantastic learning environment. Your videos are an excellent way to experience what learning to fly in controlled airspace is all about. Thanks.

    When I was flying it was the old 2FC tower! If I recall the only other inbound call was at Prospect?

      Hey Faisal, thanks mate I appreciate it. Yeah I pinned a comment to the top that mentions not reading that part back. I’ve always done it and actually like adding it at YSBK just so the tower knows I really understand what’s expected of me. It’s not by the book but I’d rather be safer than the book 😂

    Excellent vid dude - very helpful for the uninitiated. You don't know traffic until you've operated at YSBK with 5 in the training circuit, 3 on departures/arrivals and a King Air arriving on centre! Agree with you on the 152 - learnt to fly in one at Bankstown 34 years ago and had forgotten how nice they were until I bought WRQ last year - no vices. Good luck with the CPL.

      Thanks Nick. Appreciate it. Yeah the traffic at YSBK is part of the reason I wanted to train there instead of YSHL. You know it’s going to be a fun approach when you here “your number 5” 😂. It’s funny you mention a king air, you can see the care flight king air holding on runway centre as I land. KKB is one nice 152 as well so that helps haha. Thanks again for supporting the channel

      Hey Brad, thanks mate really appreciate it. I’ve watched your flying videos as well and got some great tips from them (i.e. marking the runways on the maps so you don’t need to look them up, so good!) so cheers 🍻. Now I’ll have to learn some Muay Thai too 🤙🏼
      What a spot for that airport! Not sure what the plan is with the training area. My guess is it’ll go south of Picton somewhere.

      Yeah as much as I can be these days. I’m no athlete, I just don’t want it to slip away from me. I still hit the local gym up regularly. And I’ll get more serious in period where I’m not in deep aviation mode haha

    Hey… What’s the requirements to hire out the C152? Besides needing a PPL for hire what would one require hour wise and experience?

      Hey Barry, if you had an RPL or PPL already you would just have to get signed off in that aircraft with the school and make sure you had 3 take off and landings within 90 days prior to taking a passenger. Along with having a valid medical and ASIC if flying from/to a “security controlled” airport.
